Poor LA - I see what he means - it never occurred to me to think about whether or not LA and his new wife have been to visit Shirley - with all this fuss about FCA. He just gets constantly upstaged.

Colour me "Not Surprised" ..:innocent: but I hope you are taking it slowly. I was thinking about you and your incision, or what my doctor calls a divet when they make a hole....and flexing my calf muscle as if I was walking and can see why they advise against it for the first few days. It's not like a boob you can slam a sports bra on to immobiiize it - only if you walked on the ball of your foot would it stay still?:waitasec:

I hope the doctor is just being cautionary not completely certain. Is it still hurting?

The area aroung the incision is swollen. I assume that's from the pressure of standing. Need to sit more tomorrow. The pain comes and goes, but definitely notice an improvement from yesterday. No pain medication necessary, but will pop a couple of Tylenol before bedtime.

I am praying for you RR0004, I have a feeling that everything will be alright!!!
Ibuprofen is the best if you can tolerate it. Would it hurt if you took a day or two extra off to heal and rest it?

OT I tried to multi quote but I guess I don't know how, is it a copy and paste thing? I just learned how to bold and underline so I wasn't lying to Sister Ynot when I said I was computer illiterate.

for multi quote mark all the postings you want to quote with the " " "thingy button at the bottom - EXCEPT for the last one - then use the "quote" button.

In any event - I understood that Shirley was ill, but has she passed?

Thanks for the update - please do take it easy - the last thing you need while you wait is complications - so no pushing yourself. Tylenol has been my "lifesaver" over the years. My stomach just can't handle the aleve's and the rest of them but tylenol is always the one for me.
