Geez when why do I have to use this carpy stuff I get from the drug store that doesn't even take it off properly. No fiar!!
I'll go to WalMart over the weekend and see if I can find some - cause the stuff I have is just plain silly.

Because most nail polish remover is acetone free now. One reason is that people like me with acrylic nails can use that and it will not mess up the nail. Just remove the nail polish.

You can also buy it at Wal Mart, Walgreens, CVS, and grocery stores in the cosmetic section. They took airplane glue and spray paint off the shelves years ago because you could get a buzz from of it. I think it was called huffing?

Um, here in the deep south we like to *Say It With Krylon*. Our stores are full of Krylon spray paint. and model glue comes in 3fer packaging. I know because my SIL kept leaving it where my grandboy could get it. ( They are staying with us temporarily). The third time I showed my fangs and claws.

From a quick search, I'm seeing motions to exclude regarding the knife, sex with the Tonys, speculation of CA knowledge, Brian Burner testimony, CA history of lying/stealing, heart sticker, hair banding, canine alerts, trunk stain, slutty pictures, tattoo, "Diary of Days," Cindy's MySpace, and "Jib Jab" cartoon. Nothing about a motion to exclude evidence that the Defendant was playing on Facebook, chatting on AIM and searching "foolproof suffocation" while her daughter was allegedly drowning or being disposed of down the block.

The link in the forensic magazine that Desi posted..the author pretty much stated very stongly that Linda was in charge of computer stuff and I am thinking that during the trial they were screaming more than we were as they knew that thier computer forensics should have been more involved. The author stated.that Linda knew nothing about computers and gave one example of what to most of us would be common knowledge, in that the reason chloroform was not a hit word on one compiter is that it was a photo not text (the overwhelm her with chlorofom photo)

From the posted interview:

(Sandra Osborne speaking)

I was prepared to testify about this new information as soon as Mr. Baez announced in his opening statement at trial that the baby drowned in the family pool the morning of July 16, 2008. Well, the computer tells us a story that indicates either this traumatic event never happened or the computer user ignored the crisis completely.

There is a lot I would like to have added to my testimony at trial. Many hearings were held before the trial and some of them were to determine what evidence would be allowed and forbidden. Much of the evidence I included in my reports, was either stipulated to or not allowed.

:bump:

On the book site discussions they are discussing making chloroform and it's ingredients in particular acetone. S is wondering where it can be bought. Not sure I think maybe someone there might check in here sooner or later. Acetone can be bought at any beauty supply store, perhaps even a big drugstore. I have bought it for removing nail polish and it is pure acetone.

I have a half gallon in my garage. Probably got at a paint store?

Well we know about me and my legal knowledge but I was amazed at the amount of circumstantial evidence there was in the case so maybe the SA just thought they didn't need it? Is that possible?

When I compare this case to the Laci Peterson case I still can't believe the jury came back with a not guilty verdict..:waitasec:

And next week, the Drew Peterson case goes to the jury :banghead:

Well there seems to be a news discussion about the verdict and the tactics used by defense lawyers. Say nothing. Although this new poster is not being abusive in any way I am able to see how this would make sense except I believe the evidence, whether circumstantial or not pointed to KC. I really do not know what to make of this poster since I do know if they read or reviewed the book nor do I know if they watched the trial or read the docs. Maybe this new poster is just frustrated reading how both sides are going in circles and are not going to sway one side or the other.

Welcome back ILTBP.

:fireworks: I think all five are back now..hope they will all tell us what they did on vacation or learned at their seminar as all have not come back to join us since back.

Welcome back folks!

I have not seen a News Junkie as of yet.

Well that makes sense - got it! I was more used to the old kind that stripped the nail polish off and it felt like the top layer of your nail also, but it worked. Glad to mentioned that - I was beginning to think I was the only one using acetone free nail polish remover.

Yes, what is with all the vacation talk? I had to attend a three day off-site WS seminar and it was no vacation - no books, no chocolate and certainly no nuns!

I could easily sleuth and look up if/where/when ANJ hass posted lately on the site, but that is against TOS! So, I will not do that.!

I'm not sure that is an accurate statement.

The prosecutor handling the computer evidence was Linda Drane-Burdick. She is NOT a computer person. She is still learning how to use her new Blackberry. She is, however, a quick study and she is very capable of grasping concepts unfamiliar to her.

That tells me that Linda is not a computer expert, but she has the ability to learn things quickly and to understand concepts that may be unfamiliar to her.

De Ja Vu - Home Depot rings a bell. Wasn't there some kind of receipt or video or other evidence that wasn't allowed in or was just forgotten about - related to Home Depot??

There was, IIRC, a Home Depot video mentioned in one of the OSCO files, but Cindy and George were the ones in the video, so there was no point in introducing it into evidence.

I know that they were taken off the shelves and put behind glass and sold to people eighteen years and older in the late seventy's. Don't know if it still is. Are you talking about crazy glue? Geeze I must be old.
