I know this is petty but good grief. If FCA had'nt abandoned that car the way she did it would have taken longer for Caylee to be reported "missing" and FCA didn't say a word about Caylee until she was forced to speak to the dispatcher by her mother. Ugggh!

That's the way I have always felt. FCA did NOT report Caylee missing. FCA would have NEVER reported Caylee "missing" if Cindy hadn't gone all mother-like on her azz. She would still be dancing on poles in blue dresses. Probably would be a tatted up too. Living the Bella Vita and all. :maddening:

rehashing I know ... but this is one of the mysteries of this case, and I can NOT believe for a second that OCA ditched that car on her own... I know it sounds like "tin foil hat time" - but it was all she had next to her cell phone. One of these days this will come out. My money is on someone told her to do it.

I don't know zippitydoda - I have never smelled human decomp but I understand it is all pervading and vile - overwhelmingly strong - gets in clothes, hair - how could she continue to hide that from friends?

Especially when she knew what it was from? How to explain that?

I've never been able to understand why she didn't really get rid of it - I mean put it someplace where it wouldn't be found...but parking it next to a dumpster? Huh? Did she think her parents would see it, pick it up and take it home and get it cleaned?

My guess is that she had to leave it somewhere in the area because she needed Tony to pick her up. She couldn't very well leave it many miles away and then have to explain to Tony why she was there. It wouldn't fit her story. (JMO)

Something that has always bugged me - the first time she had Tony bring her gas (I think when they broke into the shed) - wasn't her car out-of-gas near her home? (like near Suburban Dr). I always wondered if that was when she dumped Caylee in the swamp. :maddening:

How about pour bleach on it, or tell Toneeeeeee and his friends that you left a package of chicken in the truck and it rotted in the FL heat - can they please pull or cut out the stinky carpet? Remains of Caylee were in the carpet, not the metal underneath. I would guess that it got much worse after baking in hot July sun at the tow yard for two weeks with no ventalation.

Its just one of the stange things that occurred that we don't know the truth about. But what do I know????

If she was busy living bella vita, she had run out of cars to borrow (Tony and Amy where back) and was about to be busted by Amy for the check book thefts - its a wonder how it all came together that same night when CA showed up at Tony's door. OCA's cell phone was shut off the very next day for non payment. OCA had no car, about to have no cell phone and only $200 at the very moment in time when CA showed up. Just too wierd for me...

She didn't just think it, she knew it and that's exactly what happened. They always cleaned her messes, why would then be any different? Of course that was after it was towed, same difference. She was hoping that the dumpster smell would masked the smell of death and to think that it only took a bag of paper trash with an empty pizza box to convince Cindy. But it does make one wonder what she may have thrown away when she parked by the dumpster.
Which makes me still wonder about the time that Lee asked Casey, "Is this like the last time?" I wonder what kind of mess she got into that time that they bailed her out of. KWIM?

Has anyone been following the case against mother Zinah Jennings over her missing 18 month old son? Trial began last week in Columbia SC and caught a quick update on our local news here in Georgia this evening! VERY EERILY SIMILAR!

Mother fails to report 18 month old son missing for a month....

When interviewed by police, tells several versions almost identical to KC, including claiming child is with bio dad at an address that does not exist.... claims she "doesnt know", claims child is alive somewhere.....gives police name of best friend....who does not exist....!!!

And now it is reported that prosecutor was granted motion to present evidence of blood in mom's trunk (!) in case against her.

HOWEVER...in this case, mom is only being charged with Unlawful Conduct Toward a Child....

Interesting this case is almost IDENTICAL to Caylee's, however is not getting near the media attention......racial issue???

Trial was delayed today for a few days since this mom just gave birth to second child this weekend and judge is giving her time to "rest"....

But worth discussing the similarities/differences between two cases....

Mark Hawkins stated that Casey had taken Caylee away from Cindy and George to "punish" them after she had quarreled with one or the other.
She would take off for days and let them worry.... she used Caylee as a weapon.

And it gets more and more like KC....someone obviously took time to follow the case...

The search warrants show that police went to 22-year-old Zinah Jennings' Lady St. home after Jennings' step dad told police he saw her in the backyard with a shovel during the time Amir Jennings went missing.

During a January 4 search, investigators found and confiscated a shovel at the home, according to a warrant. Police also found what appear to be blood stains on blankets and clothes in the back of Zinah Jennings' 2004 Dodge Neon.

Yes, I just threw those names out there as most would be familiar with them. I'm going to try this one next, it is free on Project Gutenberg,

Of Human Bondage, W. Somerset Maugham

http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/351

but I found it on Amazon to read some reviews about it, I HOPE I can trust these very positive reviews, I'm going to give it a whirl, the reviews say it is a very good book, and I don't think this author has paid for them as he is deceased !!!!

Amazon.com: Of Human Bondage (Signet Classics) (9780451530172): W. Somerset Maugham, Benjamin DeMott, Maeve Binchy: Books

As I said, I'm now reading many many kind of different books, 2 I recently loved were The Kite Runner

Amazon.com: The Kite Runner (9781594480003): Khaled Hosseini: Books

and A Thousand Splendid Suns by the same author, I liked The Kite Runner so much I got the next one by this author, both were very, very good, modern day facts with some history involved, but fiction, not what you think though, incredible story lines both, I thoroughly enjoyed both and highly recommend them.

Amazon.com: A Thousand Splendid Suns (9781594483851): Khaled Hosseini: Books

How utterly horrific... an 18 month old baby boy "gone" since November.

I need to kiss my Mom, and reminder her that I think she is one in a billion, trillion zillion.

I can not identify with these other mothers at all.

:seeya:Nore. I couldn't finish the cartoon Bambi when my son was younger. I left the tv room bawling. He still laughs at me over that, but I haven't finished watching it either.:blushing:

Hi Tulessa, I know! I am 80 years old and I still havent seen it! Years back I took Amy to see ET..well I had to carry her out of the show, she was exhausted from crying. Enjoy your Baby Boy!! Nore (PS.) Thank God she was tiny built...

I don't think so-I thought he drove her over there and her car was somewhere else. What date did George report the shed was broken into? Within three days of Caylee being killed? The decomp experts thought Caylee had been in the trunk no more than 3 days max - more like 2-3 days because of the insect activity.

So would it have been before or on the 19th?:waitasec:

I just can't agree with you on this one zippitydoda - to do that she would have had to trust letting someone smell that "smell" and I don't believe FCA has the ability to trust anyone, including anyone on her defense team. I don't believe she would let anyone know she knew about the smell in the car..beyond the first squirrel info she gave Amy....

So terribly sad...I'd like to believe this poor baby is still alive..but...I can't..

No, even in a couple of days that smell would have leached into everything fabric in the car - bleach isn't going to remove it. I've heard of cars that have been stripped back to the metal when there's been decomp in them and rebuilt back up and they still stink.

She'd told Tony her dad was fixing her car - I'm pretty sure she would then have said it can't be fixed - and then she could just drive his until they (in her mind) left for NYC in the late summer early fall. And I'm pretty sure she could have some up with some scam to pay her phone bill. She did have Cindy's laptop with her at TL's....

You and I would make a fine pair - I am such a crybaby in films - except I can't watch violence - I have to turn my head away - shudder - no gory scenes at all please!!

On June 24, George Anthony filed a report with the Orange County Sheriff's Office, stating that someone had broke into his storage shed and stole 2 gas cans with about $50.00 worth of gas in them.

http://blogs.discovery.com/criminal_report/files/george_anthony_burglary.pdf

June 24th would make it 9 or 10 days from when many think that Caylee was placed in the trunk (either June 15 or 16th)

eta: as if it can't get an weirder - the Officer who took GA's gas can report was Richard Cain, yep....the same officer who was fired for negligence for not property investigating RK's call and the area where Caylee was found.
