What on earth was he thinking? We didn't hear peep from him all through the case. He says Cindy is in contact with Casey, so we know Casey knows her grandmother is dying.

I'm confusulated! There are a number of scenarios going through my mind involving somebody manipulating somebondy, I just can't decide who's manipulating who. And why?

What a terrible situation this is.

I still think if I find it on radaronline it's coming from the FCA/Baez camp for $$$. Maybe someone called the house and he answered the phone or something simple like that?

My feeling exactly. I think they are using Shirley and trying for a sympathy pass for Casey to come home.... so she can go out and about in Orlando.

If they're looking for sympathy they can keep on looking. Sounds like another pathetic attempt by the Anthonys to seem, well, human. I'm sorry the grandmother is suffering, but I can't see how seeing Casey Anthony would make her feel BETTER. KC isn't capable of genuine attachment to anyone.

Agree and still think it's originating from FCA and $$$. We know whenever we see or hear anything about FCA it has a price tag dangling from it.

One of the sock puppets over on Amazon said something strange the other day (at least I thought it was strange). He said "They (meaning the people who want justice) don't know squat about what happened or about what's gonna happen". Then in the next post he/she said "she'll do a lot more than talk when the time is right."

Very sorry to hear about Caylee's great-grandmother, but why would Shirley's own son release this information to the media?? This is a private family matter and the poor woman would probably like to leave this earth with some dignity and not a media storm brewing outside. Let the poor woman go in peace. Lord knows she's had enough to deal with because of her daughter and granddaughter all these years.

You could be right about using it as an excuse to bring her into the house but Shirley got her apology. She still banned FCA from her home. That woman was no dummy when it came to FCA.

Maybe they have plans for Shirleys house. Giving it more thought maybe Dan doesnt approve and figured if he let it out, she wouldnt feel safe there. I really dont give a fig. Lord please give Shirley peace she really deserves it

I'm sitting here when I should be in bed...but I can't shake the news I got today. I know it's probably nothing...but when you're a single parent it gets real scary 'cause you think all kinds of things...but the fear is gripping my heart. My dermatologist told me that I have a melanoma on my leg. She said it's "early", but just the sound of the word shakes me. I'm scared folks. I've had other skin cancer (1,2,3 and it was gone), but melanoma can be so bad. I'm so afraid.

As posters have said - this IS a safe and good place, RR :grouphug: many hugs to you! And prayers coming your way too!

Edited to add: All your prayers for my sister would be appreciated!! She'll be having a 2nd bone marrow transplant for her non-lymophma (sp?) hodgkis (?) cancer (same cancer Jackie O had!) She will be radiated so her immune systems is going to be zilch - and HOPING/PRAYING that it works this time around!!

Cindy and George could not have been charged with anything because there was zero evidence that they were involved.

Jose could not be charged for just knowing where Caylee's body was--that would be attorney-client privileged information.

But I thought Casey signed a piece of paper letting him off to tell his story of fighting for a poor, misunderstood, mentally ill, slutty, lying, thief?

Love wandering to Jonbenets thread once in a while. Hers was the first case I started following at the grand old age of 11 Is there something specific you're referring to?

It appears that the news has not hit this thread yet and since it was brought up earlier because of the strange likeness to Casey's case........Amir's "mother" was sentenced to 10 years! Not nearly the length of time she should spend in prison but a heck of a lot better than what Casey served.
