If we are going to talk Thanksgiving, I want to give THANKS to WS and all its members for this wonderful site.

I know how hard members worked together to help in this case. They would report in on any news that broke and it seemed like there was something new happening every day. They would go out and take pictures of the areas so we could get a feel about the different locations and searches. Professionals would answer and explain the many questions we had.

A member went on her own search near a church and I was on the edge of my seat worrying about her safety as I was reading her posts and looking at her pictures. Another search made at the empty house was very nerve wracking to read about. I rode the van with what’s his name (Mort?) and laughed so much as he took us around town showing us the different places we had heard about. I watched the divers in the river and worried about the gators. When the divers were pulling out the bones, I thought it was Caylee and couldn't believe they were actually showing them.

Members worked meticulously on every clue and tidbit that was discovered trying to solve this case. Things like working with the duct tape placement on Little Caylee’s face until it was just right, making calendars and plotting the pings so we could track FCA's movements.

Members were very courteous to each other and showed their compassion as lives were revealed in the hopes of understanding this case. I felt the compassion firsthand when it was revealed that the duct tape had been found on Caylee’s face and again when the heart sticker residue was found on the tape.

I even ventured out of my comfort zone when I reported on my testing of the shampoo to see if it could be used as a bath wash as we suspected KC of doing.

I felt like I was right at the trial with three or four windows opened up each morning, a big breakfast spread on the screen and the tv blaring in another room. Members were quickly finding posts and threads about the evidence as it was being presented. I found I was not alone when I felt so stunned and shocked at the verdict that came down. It doesn't hurt now like it did. I guess I have finally come to accept the verdict now even though I know it was wrong.

Thanks again for the last three years of making me laugh, helping me when I cried, and giving me so much knowledge and info that I have carried over to other cases.

Are you using the little box that looks like a mountain? Click it, back out the "http:" and paste your image link in it. Are you using Photobucket? It seems to work quite well with posting pics here.

You are hilarious. Yes, if you deep fried a smoked turkey it might taste similar to porky but it would be terrible and dried out (since smoked has already been cooked once).

I know - that's what is terrifying me!

btw we deep fry at least one here every year - but there are members of my (in law) family whose culinary expertise might lead them down this very path of degradation and destruction.

I can't decide which pic scares me more, Baez in a hair net or the pig in shades (maybe we could get JA to throw a blanket of over one of them ... you pick....

Thanks for all the thanks.

I hope it brings back some of the memories to you all too!

Lol! Do you remember the turkey they had in "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation"? It exploded and deflated and was completely dried out when they cut it! Lol at Chevy Chase trying to chew it and wash it down with water!

Bayou - if you are linking from your computer - you can try the paperclip and attach it; if posting from the web, go all the way into the pic, right click, copy image location, back to the "post card with a mountain" insert image click, past the url. then preview

(go to the advanced posting - not just quick reply...)

Try starting a photobucket account. They are free. Then, you can use Google Images to find pics that you want to share and save them on your computer. Then, go to your Photobucket account and import them from your computer to your bucket. It's really easy after you do it a time or two. Once the images are in your bucket account, you can open two windows on your computer, one with WS and one with Photobucket. When you put your cursor over the picture you want to use a box will drop down. Click on "Direct link", which is the second choice, and it will say "copying". Then, come over to the WS page, click on the "mountain", back out the "http", click on the box, and select "paste", and OK. The image will be in your post!

I wonder what exactly he means by her parents NOT supporting her?
I'd like for him to give examples...because I am sure we can come up with plenty of examples of the A's showing support for Casey.

Well, in Casey's world, if they're not completely paying for her to exist, or completely sacrificing themselves to save her (which they didn't do at trial, btw. Cindy and George denied the abuse), then they are not supporting her at all. I swear, if you look up self centered and spoiled in the dictionary, Casey's picture is next to it!

On a more serious note. I am sure there was an old thread that discussed when GA and CA were seeking immunity. This was reported in the news on January 1, 2009. Does anyone remember what went on with this or know if there was an old thread about this?

ITA!!! Great post! I think I just realized that I am getting over this case and coming here more for the great friends I've made over the past few years than anything else. I wouldn't have made it through the trial sane without any of you!!! You have my utmost and heartfelt thanks for everything, you guys!!!!
