I've been following the baby Lisa case, although I just don't have the time to get involved in it as much as I was involved in the Caylee Anthony case. The baby Lisa case has shades of The Anthony case all over it.

I was thinking just today that back when Casey Anthony was acquitted and released from jail, there was a media frenzy of "where is Casey", and the media competing to get the first interview. Many here predicted that the media frenzy over Casey would be knocked out of the headlines as soon as another case captured the public's attention. I think the disappearance of baby Lisa is that case.

I agree Leila - and really OCA gets very little press time now - I don't have the time to give to Lisa either or maybe it's that I'm not "hooked" into it yet like I was instantly by Caylee. I made the time whether I could or not.

Agree it's an oddity of a case alright. The percentages of a stranger abduction are so low - even those are usually opportunity - so I'm still :waitasec: as I don't want to jump to the obvious conclusions..

I agree..It has the same feeling almost like these people learned some lessons from FCA case. Not sure yet but my hinky meter is lit up and flashing!..Could use some help over at Lisa's thread...:waitasec:

I agree................the percentages of a stranger abduction are very low, and the baby Lisa case has got it's share of characters involved.

I'm glad that Casey Anthony and her parents are no longer making the headlines, and I really hope they aren't making financial profits too. I will continue to follow the civil case and any other civil lawsuits against Casey. I want to see Zenaida Gonzales prevail and if Tim Miller's lawsuit goes forward I want to see him prevail too.

I'll be over to post when something actually happens but right now it just all seems to be looking at people who are around the scene but I don't see anything other than vague conjecture that they are involved - no evidence...
and yes, I agree - very hinky and I don't believe a word the parents have said..

BBM Well there is that! some of the things JI and DB have said are lies - too many story changes. I'm hoping LE has put together some evidence, wherever it leads. Sure would like to see some sunshine laws working here!

Just goes to show, as with his book, he really is all about the money.
'cause he has a job? There's a lot of hopping the fence to the other side- criminal attorneys and prosecutors alike. In fact, even criminal defense lawyers (good ones any way) can be selected to sit on the bench.

...and the MJ trial.
Bye-Bye Casey
We'll hopefully see you next in Court.

Just an FYI...don't know if anyone saw the news...Dr. G. will be doing a show about the case some time in the beginning of the new year. That I most definitely will want to see...and when asked about anyone from the DT being on the show (JA will be on), she stated nope, it's not about them. It seems it will be about the science.

LOL RR0004 - Very happy this time to say I owe you a Coke! :skip:

Look what Patty G posted!!:

http://blogs.orlandosentinel.com/en...ny-dr-g-medical-examiner-to-look-at-case.html
The special is tentatively titled “The True Story of Caylee Anthony.” It will premiere at 8 p.m. Jan. 1 on TLC and repeat Jan. 6 on Discovery Fit & Health. The series “Dr. G: Medical Examiner” returns with new episodes at 10 p.m. Dec. 30 on Discovery Fit & Health.

The special is exciting enough! Can't wait! But I had despaired of any new Dr. G shows! :great:

Oops you guys beat me to it.

If I were JA, I'd hook up with Richard Eikelenboom. I found his testimony pretty fascinating -- just wish he'd been on the right side. Wouldn't it have been something if he had performed his magical touch DNA tests on the tape? Plus, he's easy on the eyes. :o

I don't think I've posted since the verdict. I needed some time to reflect. Although I greatly admire HHJP's command of the law, he gets a lot of the blame in my book. :(

I'm going to sit back and wait for karma to hit the A clan. And, I hope CM's book is the biggest failure in modern history! I wouldn't pay a quarter for it in a garage sale.

Wowzers - look what the news Patty G. has brought us today!!!

Ask me how happy this makes me!

Dr. G.! :heartluv:

"The Defense will not be there - this has nothing to do with them!"

I am so happy to see this - after all that NONSENSE by Spitz.

(and I must secretly admit that the big fat media machine they revved up has taken a turn - too late for "be careful" - it's headed right for our favorite damsel - maybe could do a swipe on a few others...)

I don't know. Perhaps this is a better prison.

She hopes to deal with the science which she believes got lost in the DT's spin. I hope all the jurors watch real closely.

And she is donating any proceeds from this show to a childrens charity.
What a difference! I for one will be watching this program...

Hi, thats one show I wont miss! Dr.G. is so clear on explaining things. I thought of her when the verdict came in, bet she was disgusted. I picked up a new "bundle" on cable when Cox cut off Dis. health for Oprah. I have learned a lot from her programs. Did you know she places a Teddy Bear with each child she autopsies? So kind, I'm sure Caylee recieved one also..so kind. :seeya:
