I'm going off-topic about the Probation topic here (sorry!), but does anyone else feel a bit sick-to-their-stomach hearing all the "VERDICT WATCH" coverage on HLN re: MJ?? I'm not trying to make light of the very-real issue of PTSD, but I'm feeling VERY "PTSD-like" with this verdict watch and remembering the true horror of the Anthony verdict. Of course, just my opinion......but I nearly vomited when on "verdict watch" with the Anthony case. We ALL know (unfortunately) that there is no "slam-dunk" with a case.....despite the strong evidence. When I heard the Anthony verdict I felt sicker than sick. I DID go and throw up!! I SWEAR that it burned me in the worst way possible (and I've been an A.D.A.'s wife for decades!). Just feels wierd......and I really want to see some justice for a change! (I feel Dr. Murray was criminally negligent in MJ's death and I love love Mr. Walgren......he's one of the BEST out there for US--the PEOPLE!!!)

PS: Not to be flip (because this is all very serious business) but what is up with JVM's extra huge and mega-fuzzy microphone??? Just a strange, light moment there!!

I so get what your saying. I'm affraid to hope for a guilty verdict for Conrad Murray, I guess I'm trying the CA method of not confronting and facing it head on then maybe I wont feel like I did with our Little Caylee. However I don't think anything can make me feel the way I did then and still do about the injustice done to Caylee.

Are you seriously thinking she is going to a $300 psychiatrist? Probably one of those free "therapy" groups - I'm OK - But You're Not - types...:innocent:

I doubt if she's going to a "group" of any kind. Free or not. I also don't believe she's leaving her hideout in order to go visit a therapist.. She's supposedly in fear of her life if her location is divulged so why would she show her face (or anything else) to a therapy group or other people in a therapist's office/clinic? Maybe she's getting online therapy along with the online classes she's allegedly taking. (Yeah, right!)

I don't think SSI is an option for her. She is not sick and she could work if it were not for who she is. That said, no doctor would sign papers agreeing that she is totally disabled, IMO. This case is too high profile and I'm sure any doctor would think twice. jmo

What pie? Her earning power seems to be falling into the basement as time goes by... She's not number one in the news anymore and I'm sure the media is quite happy chasing after other "celebrities"...

Unfortunately there are probably a LOT of "Conrad Murray" types out there who'll do whatever they have to in order to fill their pockets.

How do we know she isn't self studying for her GED 8 hours a day?

It still steams me that she is not working towards getting her high school diploma. That is listed in the state laws as a requirement of probation for those that have not graduated. How is her lack of working towards this not considered a violation of probation? It's not like she is too busy to do so, and she can do that from her hidey-hole.

Maybe she wears the same disguise when she attends her group that she wore in the deposition so that's why we really couldn't see the video? Just joshing you - yes - you are probably right - no group. Maybe Dottie has a "therapy-type" friend who goes to her? People love to have secrets that no one else knows....

When I think about it - whoever OCA gets involved with - either in a relationship of sorts or in therapy - has the unique position of immediately dashing off an interview, article or book about being OCA's "first post-jail.............(fill in the blank) and that thought would completely creep me out if it was me looking for someone or something...

She could very well be doing some vocational studies online. I seem to remember there was a big discussion about whether or not she eventually received her diploma and I thought I had read somewhere here at WS's that the school reported she had eventually received that diploma. One quarter credit, I mean, how hard could it be to get that credit....a couple of written papers maybe. jmo

I'm sorry I'm so negative today. I just feel that this probation is not even being taken seriously by FCA or her PO. At least the PO in LL's probation is paying attention and trying to get her to toe the line.

Her only therapy is looking into a mirror and talking to herself, telling herself how great she is, and so on...

And this is kind of OT, but I can't get out of my mind that tomorrow will be 31 days since baby Lisa went missing. That poor baby...

No, her probation officer doesn't just take her 'word' for anything that she tells him. He's probably done a 'home visit' to make sure she is living where she says she is, tho' she doesn't have an ankle monitor, what he saw may not be hers and she could be flying in, but I doubt it.

Because of the secrecy surrounding her whereabouts, the Sunshine Law won't help until her probation is 'satisfied'. It's up to the judge to say what constitutes that. Only then can someone go in and request the records and even then they may be redacted.

I bought a pizza from Dominos yesterday. I ate half and left the rest unrefrigerated on the counter. Today nearly 24 hours later I nuked the pizza and it was delicious. My point is that I am a lazy bachelor and consider myself an expert on old pizza. Listed here are my observations of left over pizza which I would like to share with CINDY ANTHONY.

1. Pizza does not rot, it dries out and becomes very hard because the cardboard pizza box acts as a sponge absorbing the moisture from the pizza.
2. The meat ingrediants in pizza are usually pepperoni and sausage which are allready preserved and do not easily rot.
3. Old discarded pizza does not smell like a dead body.

Cindy would you like to revise your statement that the horrible dead body smell was just rotting pizza?

To my friends at WS please refrigerate your leftover pizza maybe I was lucky.

Haha good point. Of course CA didn't care enough about her own grandchild to be honest about the trunk of the car, so her statements are even more bizarre. TOo bad they are too cowardly to pursue perjury charges.

Agree that is true with CA and OCA in the family. What we are seeing now is CA being high on "winning" or "victory" over everyone who was criticizing her - the question is going to be - just how long will it take her to "wake up" and realize what she has done.

What I'm going to be very very curious about - is where this family will be in two years - when no one is listening to them anymore - and the media will only be reporting the "bad" stuff. The media won't be watching "yesterday's news" but I will......tick tock - CA, tick tock.....

It brings to mind LDB's rhetorical question from the closing arguments...who's life is better? OCA is off in her hidey hole probably feasting on Velveeta parmigiana, JB is getting the NOKD smackdown (IMO)from Barbara Walters on the streets on NY and whining on GR's show. Meanwhile, CA appears to perceive herself as a media star and hasn't worked a day in over three years.

IMO, the whole group is heading down the OCA vortex. Helllooo, she threw her child to rot on the side of the road, she destroyed her father. Does anyone really expect extended loyalty to JB and bunkies?

I'm not ready yet to give a pass to either GA or LA. They just didn't seem to be on Caylee's side during this whole mess. Time will have to tell.

I don't know if CA will ever realize what she has done or lost, but this family will implode one day and I will be watching too!
