I am having ALOT of trouble with this site today? anybody else?

Oh ... for anybody interested if you just google the twitter pages of the named church....yeah... Pastor Rick Warren is a fellow twitter-er...You all know who he is, right?
Anywho...here is a rating on the church from Google...kind of explains their theology...WHICH STATES THAT THE CHURCH IS THEOLOGICALLY REFORMED...What does that mean??? skeers me

Gospel-Centered, Biblically Sound, Theologically Reformed Church on the Treasure Coast Pastor Steve Camp of The Cross Church preaches the depths of the gospel every week. The message is neither entertainment, nor stodgy tradition, but unapologetic truth. With their encouraging slogan "Jesus is a far greater Savior, than you are a sinner.", The Cross Church is a refreshing and budding flower on Florida's Treasure Coast (Palm City, Stuart, Port Saint Lucie, Jensen Beach, Jupiter, Fort Pierce). If you do not currently enjoy peace with God, or you're simply tired of playing religion, come join The Cross Church for worship and the preaching of God's word Every Sunday @ 10:00am. For more information visit The Cross Church website. (omitted)

I have a feeling a certain web site will dramatically change soon. Hope the media archives a copy.

To those who are doing battle, please send a special note to Vinnie and Bob asking them archive a web site. I'm cheering you on!

IMO

KC's jail letters threw the WS server into a tail spin ... there is only so much that the poor server can process and that text was just too much!!! Censored.

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

HILARIOUS!! :floorlaugh: :floorlaugh:

THANKS for the laugh :great:

I need to say that I will not condemn until I know more. But any church says that they are THEOLOGICALLY REFORMED is scary. Theology is theology.

No worries Totally - "reformed" is very common - protestant theological approach - a good many genuine congregations, in fact, embrace the essential doctrine - a la the reformation (hello there Calvin! Nods to Luther...)

If you clicked on a link containing a virus, it would slow down all the sites you visited, not just this one. This is the only site I'm having issues with. The WS server is probably just slow for some reason.

same as everyone with the difficulties - got a script error earlier and my macafee doesn't like some of the content a lot of the time. Muddling through

Oh I know what it means. I am actually studying The Reformation right now, as a matter of fact! But if you will remember, King Henry VIII used (and promoted) the reform for his own gain. Both for power, money and ... well sex.

ETA: I guess what I am saying, or implying, is that depending on the "reform" and what it is for (or WHO IT IS FOR) there are potential problems.

The devil is in the details ... literally! It is not the use of the word but how it is interpreted and implemented in their case.

It reminds me of Ex-President Clinton and he was even debating, it depends on what the meaning of 'is' is.

If the pastor is not bound by his own rules then .... :waitasec:

Yes, there are many solid beautiful religions out there and we are very lucky to live in a world that allows free choice. For that I am very grateful.

I am going to go a bit O/T here and seriously hope I don't offend anyone :seeya:

I worked for a lovely woman who was "born again". I have no issues with what anyone wants to believe but don't necessarily want to be recruited, especially at work.

So one day I put a sign on my desk. Made it pretty. It said - "Born Right The First Time".:innocent:

That was the end of that. No hard feelings....

I got my book, I got my book! Thanks to a very special member here. Muahhhhhhhhhhh!! :great::great:

Funny...he says Baez hasn't represented her for months...

Cheney Mason: Jose Baez no longer Casey's attorney

http://www.wftv.com/news/news/local/cheney-mason-jose-baez-no-longer-caseys-attorney/nGWNp/

Short article:

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. —

One of Casey Anthony's attorneys, Cheney Mason, confirmed on national television that her lead attorney, Jose Baez, is no longer Casey's attorney.

After weeks of speculation, Mason said on "In Session" Thursday night that Baez hasn't been representing Casey for months.

But when WFTV checked the clerk of courts website, Baez had not filed a notice that he's no longer representing her.

Mason said he and Lisabeth Fryer are representing Casey in her appeal and her probation.

Sorry I posted this here, I didn't realize until later there was a thread for this. I kept getting kicked off and then it's been hard to get back on.

written while in jail to her bff - be warned, they will melt your brain

(aaaachhoooo!)

Well doesn't this say everything? From her letter "My situation with living at home with Cays and my folks, staying home all day and going out at night looking for Mr. Right, same exact situation. I don't know one single mom who doesn't try to get their freedom, regardless of how old they are".
