This has happened once before that I know of. No show without any kind of explanation. I'm sure he's ok.

Right...as if that web site had that kind of money, or that OCA is worth that. Hey, I'll jump in to get some publicity too - I'll offer her ten ballizon trillion dollars, just have her people call me...my number is 123-4567-8910.

*Sigh* Which is one of the reasons that Dr G deemed it a homicide to begin with. Caylee died in her district and her mother did not call 911 after she supposedly drowned in the pool. Instead, she wrapped her face in duct tape, and drove around with her dead body in the trunk for days before finally dumping her like garbage two inches from her back yard. She then decided to blame it on an imaginary Nanny , lied to the police, the FBI, and strung her family along with visits filled with code that only she could understand, and sat in jail for almost three years only to say on the first day of her trial that it was an accident after all. Oops, she was never missing, I just didn't know how to dial 911.

Caylee never accidentally drowned, therefore, I am pretty sure that Dr. G can still statistically state with confidence that 911 is called 100% of the time in her district when an accidental drowning truly occurs.

Forgive me, but honestly, I don't understand what we are trying to work out here. Please explain.

I see what your saying. She either has no landline phone, no cell phone, and no one living with her at the residence she resides in or she's lying about all of that. All of those facts have been left blank on the form. Maybe Florida DOC doesn't care.

I think that she and her team have always viewed this probation as a form of punishment for not being found guilty of murdering Caylee instead of the rehabilitative effort as part of her sentence for the fraud conviction. They all think it's a joke. Sometimes I think the PO does too.

I was surprised to see that the PO did do a home visit but I wonder if that was only because she didn't show up in time for her monthly report. Imagine the blast that the PO got that morning when FCA started screaming about her computer videos being hacked.

When did the videos come out? Wednesday night before the visit on Thursday morning? I was thinking that we didn't know about it until Thursday night?


ETA The first thread on this started at 8 am Thursday morning so I guess we first heard about it Wednesday night.

...and Casey must have been up all night following the "blogs" and Twitter 'cause this report shows a time of 7:45 am...and that's awfully early. Wonder if this was an arranged visit???

I am not debating what "Dr. G." testified to or not. I am debating she stated manner of death on the "AUTOPSY REPORT" not the "DEATH CERTIFCATE". If some one can provide a link to a death certificate of Caylee Anthony where COD is listed as "HOMICIDE", please do; I can't find one.

As far as her stating "statistically people call 911 100% of the time in accidental deaths, specifically drownings"; you forgot to add "in her district." And obviously, since in the Caylee Anthony case, this didn't happen, "Dr. G." can no longer say this happens 100% of the time.

Do you honestly believe Dr. G. will change her percentage? How many times does she or anyone else have to say that she ruled this a homicide and not a "heinous" drowning?

I don't know! I didn't know they were remodeling their bathroom. It isn't very often that I'm on that side of town.

I searched for Cindy on this website to see if there were any new documents. (I'm looking very obsessed now lol). There was a Notice of Commencement which stated that they were remodeling their bathroom. It is dated 12/08/2011.

Can you link the doc? TIA

You won't find a death certificate of Caylee Anthony with COD the're only available to family or insurance beneficiarys they are confidential by Florida law. You can obtain a death certificate without a COD though.

As far as Dr. G stating "statistically people call 911 100% of the time in drownings her district is certainly representitive of the entire state of Florida.

If I recall correctly, Dr. G stated that since she's been doing autopsies in Orange county, she's done approximately 130 autopsies of children under the age of 6 that died in a pool drowning. In every single drowning incident - 911 was called. Why would Casey not call 911 immediately? And if Caylee did drown, why would Casey make up the nanny story? And if it was George who found Caylee floating in the pool (which I don't believe for one second) - why didn't he call 911? What are the odds that 2 people who witnessed a drowning did not call 911?

I know they had a broken pipe issue before the trial and water leaked into some of the rooms. So it could be an insurance settlement for the damages and they decided to just redo the whole bathroom. jmo

Ah yes, I remember this incident in a letter CA wrote to jail in 6/10:

I don’t know if Jeanine told you about the water pipe that broke Fri. We had water from the pipe outside of Caylee’s room leak into her room, mostly into her play corner---carpet was soaked and walls were damp. Everything is drying out but the carpet smells bad. ( I better watch how I describe it, they may come and take it into discovery !) It’s amazing how even clean water can smell rancid after it sits for awhile!

But didn't they determine here on WS that there was no pipe in that area of Caylee's room that could have broken? :waitasec:

(I do have to add though that rereading that part where CA laughingly says that LE "may come and take it into discovery!" because of the smell really gives me the creeps all over again....I mean, what normal grandmother of a dead child would say something like that to the dead childs mother? Bleh. Like rotten mother, like daughter.)

In a discussion about the Medical Examiner, I think it is important to review their duties and responsibilities. If Caylee's death certificate doesn't list homicide, so be it, I won't argue that.

It also does not say that it was an accidental death, does it?

The Medical Examiner has testified in open court, appeared on tv, reported this in the autopsy, basically screamed it loud and clear, essentially everywhere, that this was a homicide. I do not question her credibility. You, of course, have that right.

Duties of the medical examiner
Florida Statutes Ch. 406.11, FAC 11G-2

A. The medical examiner is required by law to determine the cause and manner of death when a person dies:
1. of criminal violence;
2. by accident;
3. by suicide;
4. suddenly, when in apparent good health;
5. unattended by a practicing physician;
6. in any prison or penal institution;
7. in police custody;
8. in any suspicious or unusual circumstance;
9. by criminal abortion;
10. by poison;
11. by disease constituting a threat to public heath; or
12. by disease, injury or toxic agent resulting from employment.

B. Authority:
§ "(2)(a) The district medical examiner shall have the authority in any case coming under subsection (1) to perform, or have performed, whatever autopsies or laboratory examinations he or she deems necessary and in the public interest to determine the identification of or cause or manner of death of the deceased or to obtain evidence necessary for forensic examination." (s. 406.11, Florida Statutes)

C. The need for complete investigation of deaths under medical examiner jurisdiction was recognized when Florida Statutes 406 was written:
§ "…Any person who knowingly fails or refuses to report such death and circumstances, who refuses to make available prior medical or other information pertinent to the death investigation, or who, without an order from the office of the district medical examiner, willfully touches, removes or disturbs the body, clothing or any article upon or near the body...shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree..." (s. 406.12, Florida Statutes, emphasis added)

D. Any death falling under the jurisdiction of the medical examiner requires that the medical examiner:
§ "…notify the appropriate law enforcement official having jurisdiction…" (FAC 11G-2.001(5(c))),
and
§ "…ensure that the next of kin is notified that the medical examiner's office is investigating the death…contact with the next of kin, or the attempt to contact, shall be documented in the medical examiner's case file, whether such contact or attempt to contact is made by the Medical Examiner's Office or through other persons or agencies such as hospital personnel, law enforcement agencies, funeral homes or friends of the deceased." (FAC 11G-2.001(5(e)))
