She may change her name but not her SS# IMO

Best to my memory it's a very lengthy process and one that requires Casey to jump through some hoops that she won't readily be willing to do. I read the answer to this on the Lawyer's thread some time ago. Don't hold me to this, but best to my memory she has to finish her probation and at least pay back all debts.

I believe there were also other stipulations and all in all, it would require a 5 year wait, unless I'm thinking of something else to do with her.

Does anyone know if she can legally change her name if she has judgements against her..as stated above and has back taxes?

Parts of the statute governing name changes in Florida might present a problem for her:

So seriously...where does she go now? Where could she be headed? I don't think she would go back to the Anthony home and probably not Lee's. Can't go to Baez' he already cut his losses...and none too soon. Does she have to stay within the County to keep from violating probation? Can she go anywhere is the State of Florida? If so I suggest that all Floridians BOLO for new neighbors.

OJ Simpson did not get the universal disdain as it was more racial and he was once respected. Of course things have changed. Also, Simpson did not kill a child like Casey Anthony did. Anthony is getting the same level of disdain that Osama bin Laden, Lori Drew, and South Hadley 6 have gotten.

This leads me to the next question. Is Anthony one of the most pilloried person in history?

I understand all of the differences, but he was pretty hated by most when he walked and his life was never the same while he waited for Karma to deliver the final blow.

I am just saying....she truly is the most hated woman in America. She was run out of town within hours of being outed and is now searching for yet another rock to hide under.

And once she does, it will be only a matter of time before the process starts all over again. I hope she is starting to realize how infuriated the public truly is.

Cindy....watch your back. Eventually you will be the only one she has to run too.

I think she's more worried about why Nancy Grace and JVM dont mention her much anymore. I bet it drives her nuts.

She won't be a subject on either of those shows for awhile. They got their hands full down this way with an unknown person who was unfortunately found piece by piece up in the Hollywood area these last 2 days. It is a very terrible thing that's going on, well mentioned on both shows tonight. Hope the perp is soon found and the unknown person is identified. Truly horrible situation.

I was wondering about that too. I do know that Nadya Suleman and Lori Drew (Missouri MySpace Mom) were in the news in early 2009. Strangely, I did not see search phrase "Lori Drew Wanda Holloway" or "Lori Drew Casey Anthony" despite drawing comparisons.

Casey Anthony is just like Lori Drew when I think about it. In fact, when I first heard of Anthony, Drew was the first person that came to my mind. Highly narcissistic and immature as they are volcanic and sociable.
