This quietness from the DT reminds me of a scene in the Serenity movie when the power of the ship was turned off and they floated past a Reaver (really bad monster people) ship. They all held their breath, hoping they weren't noticed by the Reavers. I feel like that is what is going on with the DT. Go quiet and hope nothing happens because of the released videos. I do think they're holding their breath too. Something is going on behind the scenes. I think the Feds just might the DT's Reavers.

I believe you may be right, Aedrys! KC and the DT have gotten away with so much because at some point, after never having any real consequences to their actions, they just decided to up the ante. Nothing happened again, so just keep going. Lie, lie, lie. Cheat, cheat, cheat. Ignore, ignore, ignore. I believe they have reached the end of the hallway again, and the Reavers are waiting for them. jmo

Had to look up what Reaver meant...

Agree!

Very interesting indeed! Dun Dun Dunnnnnn!

I want to now hear the sound of "The Hammer" coming down....

But seriously, this is nothing we have not know or speculated on already - other than any recent money FCA may have gotten-none of this is a shock to me.
She cannot keep gliding through without any consequences forever.

I hate to be a party pooper, but the things listed as "fact" in that blog post seem to be merely a rehash of what we've been reading the past few weeks among the Twitter and FB brawlers. Didn't see anything that looked like new/insider information.

The whole thing about "the money" is that unless it was given to Casey Anthony in cash $$$ (which I doubt) it will be traceable. Whether the money was given to Casey herself or someone else, taxes will have to be paid on the money.

Now if "the money" was placed into the account of a certain "foundation", the money going into that account would be recorded... wouldn't it? The only way to not claim money going into the foundation is cash donations, right?

I also don't know if I believe Casey has been given hundreds of thousands of dollars for the videos? I just don't see it? Who has hundreds of thousands of dollars to hand over to Casey with no way to make the money back from their "investment?"

I do think that the Fed's are keeping an eye on Casey though. Her computer activity is probably monitored very closely. Any signs of her getting into accounts, making purchases, etc... is probably being watched. The IRS is probably really, really interested in Casey Anthony and the IRS is nothing to mess with.

And that brings a question? Why hasn't Casey been arrested for tax evasion? Everyone knows she made that money off selling pictures of Caylee back in 2008. It was all admitted to in open court? Whether Casey signed over the money to Jose or not, she still had to pay taxes on it?

The IRS doesn't just simply let you claim, "Oops, I already spent it all... sorry?" She owes the money and cannot just claim she doesn't "have it." Can she?

I saw a youtube video where the pastor of that church was telling his congretation they had just received a Large donation from some unkown non-member on October 13, 3 days before the 1st video blog was made....hummmm

It will be interesting to see if any of this comes to fruition. I'm kinda enjoying the fact that her own words on her own homemade video could cause her some problems. Nobody else to blame. No Family to cover for her :floorlaugh:

That was Zeniada Fernandez-Gonzalez on that video...not me....lol

Even if she donates money, she would have to claim that as a tax deduction. She would still have to pay taxes on what she doesn't donate, correct?

I took it to mean someone else donated the money probably to support the felon if not what a strange coincidence...

Good question. How is she getting her "information?"

I always prepare myself for anything we hear to be no more than a rumor. That way, I do not have to be disappointed when "it" slithers away once again.

You sure called this one right.

I need to take your advice.

A large donation from an unknown non-member?? If the rumors today are true, it wouldn't suprise me at all if the Feds are getting involved.

This is a big deal.

I wonder if the Pastor knows any of the familiar-named Florida folks than run "missing children's charities"...like D&CM, MB, JD/and his poker runs and souped-up "missing kids" pickup truck or the guy who wants to build a memorial walkway in the swamp.

Even if Miss A is being supported by "in kind" benefits, she may want to be careful not to exceed the allowable limit and then be responsible for "reportable" donations.

My guess, the pastor was given the donation with "strings attached" and will start his own "charity" not having to do with children. He will then hire Miss A, at a ridiculously high annual income, which will be legal...and then keep the rest for his other "needy" parishioners and perhaps pay himself a nice salary to administrate the charity.

Brings into question who has signing privileges (board of directors? Deacons?) for the church/foundation/school any and all of them can gift up to 13k with no tax responsibilities to FCA. That's relatively unsophisticated - as Bayouland said upthread - probably some more sleight of hand involved in the transaction process.....
