Hmm, I didn't know anything about the host, but that's spooky.

A Christian apologist is one who defends the establishment of the Christian faith.
Thank you E...unicorns
It's all Greek to me. I would think that all members of a religion would defend it's establishment...I mean if push came to shove. I just don't get why they need so many divisions within one religion.

It is always refreshing to pop in over here...I sure do miss all of y'all. I just can't stand Miss A and I tend to stay away because the whole Anthony Clan chaps my behind...just thinking of them and how they are the ultimate examples of self-centered freeloaders...and hiding behind religion, too.

Have we ever figured out when Caylee was thrown out into the woods off of Suburban Drive? I know early on, it was said to be 2.6 days, but I know during the trial, they said somewhere around 9/10 days or so (someone correct me if I am wrong)? How many of you believe Caylee was still in the trunk on the 24th (gas can incident?)?

Religion is a really tough subject (especially since I'm so ill informed about it). But I know it's a hot button item on the forums so I'm going to try real hard to stay away from the religiosity but still sleuth out the physical church itself. If we could show that the Cross Church received a monetary gain by concealing Casey, that would be a loud statement about the purity of their religion. moo.

dizzychick, I would love to watch this video. I've googled for it and can't find. Do you have a link you can share? (Please don't interpret this as being confrontational at all! I'm just very eager to see and hear "Preacher" in his element and want to know how he explained the donation.) TIA.

I'm not sure exactly how these web sites work that link various entities to the same name as filed with corporation documents, but once clicking on the link it looks to me like all these MMs may not be the same person. Perhaps it is just showing possible connections but I'm not too sure yet. Still looking a bit more. :waitasec:

Could be... but one of his social network usernames is "powertoolfreak".
Construction...power tool's :waitasec:

Oh you guys, I hate to go OT, but it's looking bad for Ayla Reynolds - her blood was found in the basement of her home, and it's described as more than a cut would give. Some was found with luminol. That poor, poor baby! My heart just dropped when I heard the news!

To think, whoever did this probably used Casey Anthony as inspiration, how maddening! They probably think they'll get away with it because she did.

I watched JVM and Nancy Grace last night, this case was on both shows. The parents of baby Ayla reminded me of Misty and Ronald Cummings. In fact this case reminds me of the Haleigh Cummings case :-( Another beautiful innocent gone and nobody cares and nobody will be held responsible :-(

Remember, too, that "Baptist" does not necessarily imply any group affiliation or standard. (Think Westboro Baptist Church ~ the ones who protest at military funerals, etc.)

Thank you for this. I hate seeing the Baptist title thrown around in a negative light. I'm a southern Baptist and have been for many many years now. I belong to a fantastic church with a wonderful pastor. Don't go thinking we're all nuts, now! :)

One thing I have noticed in the past is that many killers had fanatically religious parents. Diane Downs (Baptist), Betty Broderick (Catholic), Osama bin Laden (Sunni Muslim), Marwan al-Shehhi (Sunni Muslim), Fred Phelps (Methodist), and Jerry Sandusky (Catholic) come to mind. They likely are repressed and have issues of self-hatred.

But Casey claims to be the "only religious one" in her family.

Personally, I think the only people who could accept and forgive her would have to be deeply religious. Maybe. IDK! JMO.

Entrusting Treasure International? Are they the parent of Cross Church, who is hiding someone that was entrusted with the treasure of a child and then killed that child?

I just have no words...the irony there is just HORRIBLE...

Oh, but CA and GA were born again during this case, baptized and everything. I think CA would argue SHE is the most religious in that family, not Casey!

I envision CA grabbing CA by the throat, throwing her against the wall and insisting on it. :great:

I think the lack of bug evidence, who are in the initial stages of decomp made it pretty clear Caylee was in the trunk for three or less days. In the Florida heat, the amount of decomp in 9/10 days would be.......impossible to type.

Looking at the evidence I can't believe it possible she was still in the trunk on the 24th. Just the odor alone would have made it horrendous, without even thinking of the amount of liquid decomp.....

Good gosh! These people run a church  just click on the names in the sidebar and you'll see exactly what I'm talking about...the companies associated with these people aren't exactly Christian...E Divorce???

I'm also seeing "Entrusting Treasure Ministry" through AJ, this might be the parent Church.

Looks to me like this entity is no longer active and hasn't been for a few years.

IMO

I'm kinda thinking that rebaptism just didn't "Take"

True and maybe freeloaders and criminals are taking advantage of the Baptists. It is my understanding that this particular faith believes in redemption/second, third, infinite chances. Bad people and con artists are typically drawn to such forgiving people. They weasel their way into and sometimes even take charge of a church's direction and over time the leadership...especially vulnerable would be a church that is struggling financially.
