I would never associate the word 'happy' with someone who has lost a child.
The only people in my family who lost a daughter, age 13, to Leukemia, were never happy again.. they put on a brave face but the rest of their lives were never the same.

It didn't take Casey long to get to the "happy" stage. 27 days to be exact.

I said this just the other day after the news broke about the Powell boys. I said I expected to hear from her camp since the focus was on someone else and look what we hear today! Pathetic.

Ths may be a question for the Lawyers thread, but I wonder to what extent the A's are allowed to continue to use Caylee's name and image now that KC has been found NG? KC would be the true "owner" of Caylee's name, image, and any use of same, wouldn't she? I'm sure the A's had something in writing while she was awaiting trial, but now that she is out, what? I would expect, unless the A's had something permanent filed, KC may just come after them to stop using Caylee's name and image so that she and she alone can use them. Wouldn't surprise me in the least. Nothing would. JMO

I think the only reason that she has not done anything about it yet is because Cindy and George are supporting her financially? I do not believe Casey has any access to the $500,000.00 yet, but I can almost bet that when she is off probation, she is going to demand access to money she believes she is entitled to... and you better believe she feels entitled to that $500,000.00.

The question will be... How long will Cindy allow Casey to rob her blind this time? How long before she has no choice but to cut Casey off again... before she herself is broke and back in debt?

Cindy and George have already given their exclusive? They honestly do not have a platform to stand on? They in no way represent missing children? They in no way represent grandparents rights. They don't even represent drowning victims. The only leg they have to stand on is being the parents of a murderer, but they won't claim that? And who would donate to such a thing?

Casey herself is not marketable. I don't care what anyone says. She is not going to be given some big pay day. No one with any kind of real financial backing wants anything to do with her.

So they have their $500,000.00 to live off of? Like I said, $500,000.00 won't last long with the last name Anthony. When the money is gone... Casey will take Caylee's name from Cindy and George.

When the donations from disillusioned admirers dry up and she can no longer find anyone to buy her latest video logs spewing her bile, then she will definately lay waste to her parents even being associated with Caylee. Actually. I'm surprised she hasn't done it already! I can't imagine allowing the person who molested you and may or may not have molested and killed your precious child before callously dumping them in a swamp to be in charge of a charity bearing that childs name while collecting funds in their name! Why, I can't believe ole Cheney "The Bird" Mason hasn't already sent out a cease and desist letter to them!

(The statute is FSA 540.08 if you're desperate for some bedtime reading.) Casey has always had the right to license her name and likeness.

I've been one of those darn lurking guests since the trial ended.

I noted the TES att'y requested a Special Master for TM's depo.
I didn't know what that was & found the below info:
Infrequently, attorneys taking a deposition in a distant, non-courthouse, location may anticipate that a witness will refuse to testify, or that some other problem will come up. For good cause shown, judges may appoint a Special Master to appear at the deposition to make evidentiary rulings on the spot.

Thought others may be interested as well.

Thank you, AZ! This is what I had figured. I expect KC to take control as soon as her probation is up. Who knows? Maybe Dr. Phil is the one who allowed her to buy her new computer? KWIM?

FCA is living in a dump.

FCA has no future (I actually agree with CA for once). She will be forever known as a baby killer, liar, and thief. The kind of people supporting her are not anyone I would want to be around. They won't support her forever and they are obviously not rich.

CA/GA/LA will always take her back, in fact I think she lives with them at least part time. Every time CA/GA dip into their fraudation $$$, they may get caught. Some people have already asked that their fraudations (excuse me) foundations be looked into for fraud. They aren't fooling anyone. The scamdations are nothing more than a tax shelter and fraud and they are using Caylee's name to commit that fraud....repulsive.

FCA went to great lengths to appear to be someone she is not. A person with a nanny (not just a babysitter) and a good job. In reality she was a high school drop out spending her days pretending to have a job, doing nothing but texting obsessively and spending her evenings hohohoing. She was stealing gas from the family gas cans and spare change from Caylee's piggy bank. She stole from her ailing grandparents. Her dirty little secret is out. She is pathetic. She knows it, we know it.

FCA will never be able to eat in a restaurant without wondering if someone spit in her food or worse. I read a blog where a waitress wrote they were spitting in CA and GA's food.

I agree with the other posters. People who are happy don't go around telling people how happy they are because they are too busy enjoying their life. FCA's highlight of her day is making duck face pictures. She is too old to fit into the college party scene. She is too old to be making duck face pictures.

She relies on handouts from people and that won't last forever. She has no job skills and I have little doubt she thinks she's too good to work at a job with her skill level. She has no car. She doesn't own a house and if she gets an apartment, she'll have to hope every month her sicko admirers give her money.

She is not living the beautiful life.

When I think of the type of people donating money to Casey Anthony, I think of the Dateline special "To Catch a Predator." They're sick people with sick intentions. Those are the type of people supporting her and don't think for one moment that one of these sick people will not want something from her in return? Nothing in life is free... at least not forever? One of these donators are going to want a letter from Casey? When she refuses? They are going to want to take her out? When she refuses? It's a scary world... cyberspace. She really has no clue that there are people who are just as evil... if not more... than she is.

I have a hunch you're correct about the Special Master.. Who knows what kind of shenanigans Green and the rest of FCA's "team" would try to pull during the deposition of Tim Miller. For one thing, I hope they don't turn the darn thing into a marathon depo the way they did for Zenaida...

Off of the topic of KC, but since this is the Sidebar, I need some advice. I am either going to buy a new laptop or a tablet. Anyone have any pros or cons on one over the other? I was in my bedroom laying down the other evening and wanted so bad to be able to log on here while I was in bed watching tv. Lol! How sad is that? I usually am on my desktop. I have a laptop that needs replacing due to age and have given some thought to a tablet. Does anyone have any input that might be helpful on tablet vs laptop? TIA!

I'm going to say it had to be photoshopped or someone who just looks a lot like her because... because... I don't even know what to think? Put it this way... if it is Casey, she has ruined any chance she had at getting any kind of deal with Hustler or magazines like that?

I will make a prediction that the gut-wrenching tragedy of the murder of Susan Powell's sons and the failure of the system to protect them will cause a tremendous backlash on the whole reinvention of ICA that was planned by her "team" and her to make her somehow acceptable and marketable to the public.
The dynamics of this family-though very different from the Powells still have the basic elements that allowed a monster to grow up and enter society for a time before their true colors came out and a tragedy occured!
The A's will have their small circle of supporters as Josh seems to have (mostly his family-sound familiar?:waitasec for the moment. But, there is no future or redemption for them. They can go back to the drawing board a thousand times and come up with a thousand schemes or scenarios to try to revamp and make tolerable ICA's re-emergence into society-it will be an EPIC FAIL and they will see themselves as victims forever!!!
