I'm watching GVS now and am quite amused that Baez thinks Casey has an IQ of almost 120. No way, Jose!
Can someone please tell me...did CA state the pool ladder incident occurred on June 16th?

The pysch dr interviewed on dr. Drew said he spent two days with Casey and she gave him permission to tell dr. Drew the results. He said she was of average intellect and maybe a little below and she does not have a mental illness. Baez does not have a very good memory for a highly sought after lawyer. :floorlaugh:

You could be right but didn't Caylee have a large crib type bed? I remember seeing it in the GVS special and then she said Cayle slept in FCA's bed...

Caylee had one of those cribs that swing into a bed. She slept with KC at night, but had her afternoon naps in her bed - crib. Now that I think about it CA is the type who would not allow animals on the furniture. I could be wrong, but I don't remember ever seeing a picture with animals on any of the furniture.

Was that church propery in or near Pt. St. Lucie? I don't even remember anymore. But if it was, I could consider that when it had to come back to FL for probation, it was housed at the church property then. IOW, that had been her only hiding place once she came back to FL, and the post-it-note thing didn't really happen but even if there was some kind of threat at that time she still wasn't moved. I think the whisking away in the dead of night to save her life was all hooey--designed to get sympathy so she wouldn't have to appear in person in court.

I recall reading a rumor that it had been seen in the Pt. St. Lucie area quite some time before it was outed in that location. So, IMO, it could have been there the whole time. I think it left this past spring, due to some disagreement with the church guy, or maybe just out of boredom from having been there for months.

Of course, if the church hidey place is not in the St. Lucie area, please ignore the above.

It's all about publicity for "it." It was then and it is now. If its keepers want it to be left alone and people to stop hating it, they need to shut up, and to stop dropping hints of sightings or that it has a story to tell. Because, it has already told too many stories; we don't need to hear more.

Yes, you are correct - the St. Luce location was the church location I also think you are correct in suggesing she was there from the start. When we were reading the preachers blog he was giving thanks for a large donation they received in July or early August that allowed them to do re-carpeting, buy new computers for the school blah blah. He doesn't say where it came from but pretty easy to put the clues together.

Yes, there a few with George and CA with the dogs on the sofa - and doncha know her dogs would be different - not critters at all, and probably bathed at least once a week.

I was just thinking about another comment someone made about CA cleaning the house from top to bottom. Not to defend CA, but some people are compulsive cleaners when they really distraught about something..somebody like me for example.

When I was young, we had to clean at home a lot more than average now, and it was something I liked to do, because it was physical and I didn't have to think about it. Even now when I have a problem to worry about, I find myself cleaning the bathroom, or reorganizing the kitchen cupboards or washing floors. It's possible CA had that kind of a reflex also...

ITA LG, but to wash all Caylee's bedding, but not touch all the fingerprints that Caylee left all over her mirror???? Doesn't make alot of sense to me...

I remember GA, CA & Caylee on the sofa, but not the dogs. Mind you I never thought to look for this before so you're probably right.
Were the dogs on the sofa or her lap lol?

Okay so I have a confession to make - while crusing the news sites this morning, I saw a written blurb on Greta's interview with JB, and while readig one of them, the actual interview turned on.:what:

So I watched part of it and I had been concerned that she was "favouring" him during her questions - I watched her and was impressed she did not. She doesn't exactly challenge him in an aggressive way, and mind you, I didn't watch much. But I did see the part where GVS asked about her being the most hated person in America, and she does say that most people including her think FCA got away with murder.

Jose has that "don't hit me because I'm lying" smoozy look on his face and I laughed my head off at him insisting his family made this say "rat fingers" and Tourrettes Boy about Ashton and that it wasn't his idea at all.

Here's what I think about your GVS interview Jose ....

Bad Boy, Bad Boy, whatcha gonna do, whatcha gonna do when the they - the media - come for you. Cause for me that backlash is definitely on the horizon.:rocker:

Hey - :floorlaugh: we're talking about a pic of CA - that isn't burnt on my memory banks....

Ummm - we're talking about CA? I'm not saying your thoughts are wrong, y'know? Just that we saw her house and she is a clean maniac..but don't ask me to explain her mind cause...

I could see vomit on the sheets, but don't think there was blood involved. I'm pretty sure the techs went through the house - you can't scrub away blood or it's very hard to. I just assumed she washed the sheets because she wanted the bed to be "fresh" for when Caylee came home but what do I know?

Yes, I remember that GVS interview, it`s what introduced me to the case. It is on youtube with the title "caylee marie anthony greta otr".

Today I did some clicking on Amazon and also left a comment on one of the "5 star" reviews..I will not read the book (BaeS) though.

In the same interview he referred to her as "refined" and "articulate". I guess that means she brings her own toilet paper when she pees in the parking lot :what:

Articulate and refined? With those goofy "I'm a legal Intellectual" remarks she used to make?..:floorlaugh:
Okay Baez - what was it she was scribbling on her notebooks at trial that was so annoying to you? Refined and articulate comments? :floorlaugh:

And she walks free, just like her daughter. Why do good people die, and evil people live. After many years I'm still trying to figure that one out .

I agree Grammie. While Baez speaks of Casey's intelligence, I think it is often overlooked (jmo) that Cindy's quick thinking and cover up was instrumental to the defense.

After the initial 9 1 1 call, which may have been the only time she was honest, she was in full cover her daughter's 🤬🤬* mode. She started lying and covering and did not stop until the day her daughter walked.

JMO. Cindy Anthony should be in jail - along with her daughter.

after reading all the dribble from the parts of the book and listening to foghorn about celebrating "ITS" victory instead of the 4th of July...why doesn't anyone....anyone(hello talking heads) do an interview with the real "other" vicitms of "ITS" string of terror...from Jesse Amy Ricardo..and the list goes on and on...let them make some $$ for what they were put through since poor lil Caylee cannot.....IMHO

This is a great idea!!! Let's all send an email to someone, I don't know who, I for one would love to hear what others have to say. I've been wondering, isn't there any cousins in this family? Didn't LA and FCA have any cousins, isn't there anyone on GA's side of the family???

I respected GVS for a long time but then she seemed to have lost focus and was running with the pack rather than thinking for herself. I lost respect for her and quit watching her. I didn't watch her interview with JB but will admit I watched a little bit of her thing with the jury foreman. Couldn't stomach that so I switched channels the first night and didn't even tune in the second night. I felt she could have asked some really good questions of him, but didn't. And didn't ask him to elaborate when he stated Caylee could have died "any number of ways." (I really wanted her to ask how many ways he believed a child could die included duct tape on the face, but for whatever reason she didn't press that.)

In reading here about this latest GVS interview with JB, I have gotten back a little bit of respect for GVS. A little bit, because I think she could have and should have done more to refocus the intervew whenever he became evasive. She did do that to some degree, but IMO could have done more. IDK, since I didn't watch it maybe I am being unfair to GVS about this. But I firmly believe that it is the job of the media to report the truth and to go after those who lie. If they aren't going to do that, they need not even do an interview at all, IMO.

ETA: Hats off to Hal, though!!

Yes, agee with all you've said about GVS - although I did chuckle a bit when she would ask him a question and he would answer with that sliding way of his and she wouldn't say anything - just leave him to squirm and keep talking....not the best technique but in it's own subtle way it was kind of effective.

But would have liked her to pound him - I wonder if they sign any kind of a contract with him before he goes on the air?

It's also going to be funny when his Bud Geraldo steps up and bites him which he did a few times before and after the verdict, when Baez least expected it.

IIRC, there was a theory discussed back in the day that the reason Cindy mentioned washing Caylee's sheets every week was because she was suspected of trying to get "age" and "wear" on a newly purchased Winnie the Pooh comforter meant to replace the missing comforter.

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

ITA LG, I said if it were blood that she would have burned the bedding lol That's why I think there was vomit & NOT blood. We all have our own thoughts about what happened I guess.
And yes we are talking about CA who was in cover up mode at this point.
There is alot that went down at that time as very suspicious, alot.
It's all jmo, but I'm sure she knew at the time she washed Caylee's bedding that Caylee was never coming home again.
It's interesting talking about this again.

About the tampering of evidence in the car- there has to be a crime scene first, right?

I have to say - after reading the comments about Baez's book (I have not read the book) - I have alot of apprehension. Something unpleasant is going to happen. There is so much animosity between ALL the main players, including among the defense team.

Someone up thread mentioned feeling that Jose is trying to rehabilitate his image with this book and I agree. But his immaturity reflected in the nicknames, etc., assigned to the prosecution team and George is just plain embarrassing for him. I'm sure the other members of the defense team resent him for revealing those little tidbits!

He is clearly also trying to justify going after George in the trial because he has been criticized for that. Unfortunately - his intensified slander of George is having the opposite effect. I have never believed George had anything to do with any of this. I have always felt he was the only one who tried to put the brakes on KC careening out of control as a teenager and thus he had to pay the price because she hated him. I hope he stays strong!
