Ok.. ive been reading a bit more Jezzz reading this book is like torture..
and I have a question... I thought it was illegal to ask a witness a question if you knew they were gonna lie?

Jose says he knew casey had done the search for chloroform.. they had talked about it..
and that he knew cindy would say she did it. as she did in her depo..
so he called her to the stand and asked if about it.. ,knowing she would lie..
He says he did this to show she lies and to set linda B up.
I thought that was illegal??

It's kind of sad to say it is a very trendy item to wear on clothing, or darned near anything for that demographic. Was then - is now..still. The way "dragonflies" were a ten or so years back.

While FCA may have had a sinister association about it - the trend out there sure didn't originate with her. You will still see it used a lot with the tattoo crowd.

Wow, that whole statement blows my mind! Thanks God I did not read that book, I literally couldn't take it. I guess an attorney will have to weigh in on this one, probably some legal mumbo jumbo will make it all A.O.K.

that is just too much, he really states as a fact that FCA told him she did the chloroform search?? and he KNOWS that?? but was "setting up" the Prosecution?? unreal. goes to further show how trials are just a show of gamesmanship, who can one-up the other side.

sheesh!!! this case takes the cake!

Oh man - the stories this man tells to try to prove he isn't an idiot. It's not working JB, that story is a load of carp and you know it - you got caught on a fiddle and should have been penalized for it.

JB knew the jig was up when Lee visited him and told him he'd overheard a conversation between GA and CA - with CA telling GA she was prepared to lie. He told Baez not to go there with him or else.

I saw that comment but didn't know who had posted it. The complete crassness of that man is just beyond words. As my old auntie would say - huh - raised in a barn on the 'tother side of the tracks....

I believe he was asked to be a GUEST SPEAKER at an event 1 evening at Harvard...and not that he was a professor/teacher at Harvard as he makes it sound

I sure hope Baez never teaches at Harvard, or anywhere else. It's scary enough that a couple of the jurors are on staff in Pinellas County schools.
