I don't hate Jose, I hate Casey but I don't hate Baez. As a defense attorney that's his job. I do think his ethics were highly questionable but in the end he got the result he wanted. I don't think it's because he's a good attorney, I think with the jury they chose and the dysfunction of the whole family it was the perfect storm for him and he got lucky. I will read his book, but I will never pay for it. Prosecution, defense, or jury; I won't give any money to help people profit off what Casey did to her baby girl. Downloading it for free now.

I agree it was Jose's job to defend Casey in court and if the courts are okay with questionable ethics we need to try to change the system rather than faulting anyone who takes advantage of what the system allows.

But...now that the case is over and Jose is no longer Casey's attorney, he has no legal or professional obligation to defend her anymore. I am not saying he should be speaking out against her, but for him to try to make Casey look like a victim in court is one thing; to be doing it now after a far more favorable verdict than they ever dreamed of is despicable and self-serving, and is his choice rather than his job.

Also, for Jose to tout ad nauseum that George is the villain when he has yet to back up anything he touts speaks volumes about Jose, not just as an attorney but as a person. The defense has rested and the verdict is in; Jose should just be silent if he is not going to speak the truth.

That was not in the initial probation order, I don't think. I think it was added on a few weeks after she was released.

This is what bother's me the most. Someone murdered an innocent baby, (I believe this someone is FCA) someone got away with it because of the way JB was allowed to represent his client, I want to believe there are still decent Defense lawyers in our Country. I agree with you 100% our Criminal Justice system needs some very serious changing. OR maybe it just needs to get rid of lawyers who defend their clients the way JB defended his. Why can't we have in this country only strong decent Defense lawyers????

Jose claimed that Casey had already served her probation while in jail. This was due to an error on the order from Judge Strickland. Judge Perry corrected this error and said that Casey's defense lawyers knew that Casey was to serve probation AFTER being released from jail. There are several quotes from Judge Perry in the article that was linked.

Jose, Casey and more than likely others on the defense team definately knew what they were doing was wrong, IMO. However it appears that the prospect of large payday from a media show was worth playing dumb and being publicly scolded by Judge Perry.

I've just been over at Amazon doing my due diligence..:floorlaugh: and happened down to the page to the lower section of the first page.

Now does everyone know what a "tag" is? It is a word you can put into your google or yahoo or whatever search line to bring up a variety of topics. Got it?

Okay so the top ten "tags" for this "product" are (honest to God) listed as following:direct quotes...:what:

Yes, those tags have been there from day 1, before reviews were even allowed, they are hysterical, there were a few of his minions adding their own tags, but they are at the end.

Also, at the very bottom, there is a Discussion Forum which is where all of the action was when the book first appeared on Amazon also from day 1 when his book first came on amazon to pre-order at the beginning of May, there is some hilarious stuff in there also, the "pro-JB-folks" are hardest at work on these books reviews at this point, but the discussion forum is where things were hoppin' for quite a while.

I have been watching this book on Amazon from the day it first appeared in early May, some folks are still posting in the Discussion Forum, now it appears the whole Discussion Forum for this book is over the right-hand side of the screen, there are 53 discussions going on, with titles like:

southpark and casey
Lies, lies, lies for only $26.95!
Casey is a proven LIAR
Peter Golenbock had a busy day of tagging his own book ;`P
Thanks to Baez, this is what is walking freely on our streets,

and a whole lot more!!

I know South Park has been talked about and the connection between the "milk sneezes" and all but has anyone thought to check out other adult cartoons to see if Casey lifted from any of them as well? Like Beavis and Butthead and Family Guy? I don't watch any of those shows so I can only go by looking at the episode descriptions but does anyone watch them that may remember something?

I am having the most difficult time finishing this book. I've skipped through a LOT because it was soooooooo whiny and pompous, too.

Did anyone point out the part where Casey asks Jose to be her Godfather?

Excerpt:

Casey said to me, "I have something to tell you."

"Okay," I said, bracing myself, because I had no idea what she was going to say.

"I've been thinking about this for a long time," she said. "I want to know if you'll do me a favor. I'd like you to be my godfather."

"Wow." I was so touched.

Did Jose happen to mention exactly what time of day this drowning/George presenting dead Caylee to Casey incident occured? As in, where does it fit in this timeline of June 16? Casey was supposed to have been in a deep sleep before George came in, right?

12:54 am Casey finishes up an 80-minute phone call with Tony
1:05-1:54 am Casey texting back and forth with Tony
3:08-3:22 am Casey on the phone with Tony
7:54 am Someone calls Casey's phone from the house landline-goes to voicemail
7:56-8:06 am Casey happily IM'ing/flirting with Alex (sorry JB, not buying that this was George--see transcript a couple of posts up), so I assume the "incident" was after this.

8:45 am Casey texts Tony

11:47 am-12:06 pm Casey on the phone with Tony
12:55 pm Casey exchanges texts with Tony
1:00-1:14 pm Casey on the phone with Tony

I know GA said he seen KC & Caylee leave at approx noon that day. Could it have been a little earlier? I find it interesting that she said she dropped Caylee off between 9 & 1 & the lull begins at 8:45 .
I always wondered why KC said she dropped Caylee off at Sawgrass between 9 & I that day? Why not just say 9:00 - 10:00?
Just another mystery that I wish I knew the answer too.

FCA will steal from anyone literally, verbally and physically. There has NEVER been an original thought come out of her. Everything written and expressed was used first by someone else. I forgot where her "Everyone Lies; everyone dies" work, used on her mother, came from but it wasn't her. If we go back in time, we will see her dark writings and what she really likes to watch on tv...which is killing. I think she listed American Psycho as a favorite...yea, she's a real piece of work.

I would think she would watch South Park often. ( I like it too, but not when they cross the line). She would steal from that, for sure. If anyone in that household did any molesting, my money is FCa as the aggressor. yep, I put nothing past her. She watches tons of movies and copies lines from them. I don't watch the psycho movies so I won't catch her future burst of literary comments...lol. She is watching and reading the "Hunger Games". There has to be some writing in there she can use.

I doubt GA saw Caylee that day. GA is lying or telling a mistruth, as Cindy calls it. GA is protection mode, imo....or he is very confused.

Btw, another lie from jb during his media interviews, he told bw that they went to an underground parking garage. I guess he thought that sounded more exciting. There are no underground garages in orlando. They would be under water most of the time. The water table is usually right around 10 to 20 feet.

They went to the the building(Bank of America Center building) where Cheney Mason's law firm is in...
That building has an attached 5 level Parking Garage....

Yes, the book reviews are great, but I'm saying do you know there is also a Discussion Forum, separate from the reviews? it is at the bottom of the page, below the tags? you may be referencing this but it seems folks on here are just talking about the actual Book Reviews, not the Discussion Forum, which is separate? You have to be viewing the amazon link for the Hardcover Book to see the Discussion Forum, if you are in the kindle link you cannot see it. There are 53 topics and lots of replies, separate from the book reviews, people are still actively posting in that Discussion Forum also.
