Hi Jose!! :seeya: I see you are listening to us at WS and it's about time but you have to admit - pretty late in the game.

I see you've bought back another block of books - and wanted to pass along some info for you.

I was watching a little TV late last night and there was an ad about metal sheds you can put in your backyard. They aren't too expensive but waterproof and great for storage and you could store your buybacks back there until you need to have a huge "garage" sale one of these fine days... :floorlaugh:

To me, CA's refusal to see the truth led her down a very ugly path of manipulation and some bizarre behavior - all to prevent her from having to face her own reality. I don't say any of this as sympathy for CA at all - I just see her refusing to acknowledge what was happening in her own family. Rather than address the problems, she kept denying FCA was a problem and "smoothing" the way for FCA rather than deal with the problems that would tear their family unit apart. She just couldn't see that was happening despite her efforts.

We see Rick, her brother, from the outside could see exactly what was happening. I think he suggests the drowning to "gauge" where or not CA was still in "refusal" mode. What I don't understand is why George, who IMO knew from the day he lifted that trunk lid - and then went home that night to find Caylee was "missing", went along with CA's madness for so long.

I do think CA's refusal to acknowledge FCA's bad behavior to the world from an early age iinavertantly showed FCA as a sociopathic child the method to get away with just about anything. Cindy used as a way to cope and FCA used it as advanced manipulation. Just pretend it didn't happen and tell another story, and she would eventually get away with it.

I think professionals who study systemic dysfunctional family behavior will be studying this family for years.

And again, this is NOT me showing sympathy for CA but trying to objectively with as little emotion as possible, but instead trying to understand how and why this all went so wrong.

I agree with you completely. I think you have them nailed.

I think several issues were in the mix.

I don't believe the accidental pool drowning story, but Cindy wants us to because of her lies and the Caylee on the ladder and at the door photos.

I don't think it took Casey very long to blame Cindy in the "accidental drowning" story when it came around. All Casey had to do was ask Cindy if she was sure she put the ladder away. All Casey had to do was make Cindy think that she, Cindy, was the reason Caylee was dead. To raise that reasonable doubt in Cindy's mind. Then it's not Casey who outright killed Caylee, but Cindy who screwed up.

IMO, the only thing Casey could use to make Cindy feel any pangs of guilt would be that she tried to reach Cindy by phone and she didn't answer Casey's calls. Even if one of the calls was answered, if it was a request from Casey to babysit Caylee and Cindy refused....well, I can see how that might haunt.

Cindy did not leave that ladder up. She was very meticulous about her home and yard and in particular anything that might be a danger to Caylee. Cindy's biggest mistake was not seeing the most imminent danger in that household--the little girl's mother!

People who do not believe it could be this simple say it makes no sense because if Casey wanted a social life and Caylee got in the way of that, she could have just given custody to a ready and willing Cindy.

But not Casey! Nope. No way would she give Cindy what Cindy wanted most!

Casey wanted to come and go as she pleased, and she had (IMO) always been jealous of her daughter. Add to that her anger at Cindy during that time, and tragedy ensued.

Little Caylee's death was the best way Casey had to stick it to Cindy.

that's what I dont get about baez, mason et al talking about how NICE offender anthony is if you just TALK to her are you kidding me??

anyone who murders a baby (in such a cruel and horrible way!!!) for essentially the sole purpose of sticking it to their MOTHER (which I believe is the reason coupled with OCA's lack of sleep and rage at being "annoyed" by a toddler) is NOT A NICE PERSON. she could spend her ENTIRE LIFE being "nice" and polite, and charming, and freaking working with homeless people and donating to charity and any manner of crap but you know what? in my book? there's something rotten about someone who could do the things she did and she couldnt cover that up with all the NICE in the world.

let's see...

1. murders her baby by duct taping her face closed and dumping the body like trash IN A TRASH BAG

2. goes about life cheerful as anything, cause, well, she's sorted CINDY right out...and bonus?? NO POTTY TRAINING ANYMORE.

3. makes up a fake babysitter and fake kidnapping, wastes everyone's time and money and hurts everyone on the planet basically

4. laughs at her mother crying while caylee is "missing" (this one really chaffed my...well.)

5. when the heat starts to get too hot, she looks left, looks right, and starts crying SEX ABUSE at her father & brother, who've just spent YEARS looking like *ing fools supporting her lying murdering self

6. gets out of jail and the ONLY thing she has to say publicly is that she isnt 500 pounds, and oh yeah, "obviously" she didnt kill caylee. oookay.

7. bonus....remember the first call home? when kristina was crying and offender anthony had nothing to say but "calling you guys? a waste. a HUGE waste." and also: "they only care about caylee". well god forbid!


there is no amount of NICE in the UNIVERSE to erase all that. I dont care how "nice" she played before, or how "nice" she plays now, she is NOT A GOOD PERSON. not even most BAD people would do those things, would cringe at the very thought. Yep. Codependency can be considered, IMO, a manipulative performance by both parties.

it took me a long time to figure out I'm a conceptual "learner" and it's both a blessing and a curse. In other words, an explanation for anything produces action pictures that move forward to a conclusion, combined with searching for patterns. So if the conclusion "doesn't work" or the answer is "cannot comprehend" the whole darned process starts over again all by itself....:banghead:

Thank heavens only one of my daughters is slightly like this!! :floorlaugh: or maybe more than I ever thought and that's what those temper tantrums were all about - or not...:floorlaugh:

Exactly - there are a lot of clinical reports out on treating the whole dysfunctional family. One MSW I remember reading years ago did a family therapy to show this behavior by tying a rope loosely around each members waist so the family stood in a circle. Then had one member make a sudden movement and you see what happens to the family. They all react in some way to maintain their balance and that of the "moving member. It was pretty interesting.

ok.. here is to me an excellent example of the laziness and rudeness, and stupidity of alot of the 5 star peeps ..
I have been posting on some of the reviews.. one of which is new's junkies.. there is a poster there goes by name lily. who is annoying and not the sharpest tack on the cork board..

I'm one of those people who goes back and forth with the drowning by negligence scenario and think the duct tape was part of staging to make the death look like a kidnapping and the lazy placement of the body was so she would be found...quickly...with duct tape on her face like a scene from a movie. The fact that FCA was on the phone/computer texting, talking and googling all day long shows without a doubt that she wasn't taking good care of Caylee that day...no question about that. There's no doubt in my mind that FCA was just going through the motions as a mother...she wasn't engaged in the process of mothering. When it worked to her advantage, she gave the appearance of being a good mother. A thousand pictures to show how pretty her "product of rape" was etc. Ugh, I just disgusted myself typing that out. I'm getting off my own topic....

BUT

today...for the first time ever (not sure how this happened) I read about wool fibers on the duct tape and I totally floated over to the other side. There's my smoking gun...Caylee died in the trunk
