Well, I think we will all have to face the facts here: Casey has gotten away with murder and her mother has gotten away with perjury. Both her parents will get rich via their foundation. Casey will come into some cash of her own, none of which can be touched, even with court orders for her to pay, because of the appeal on the lying convictions and the soon-to-be-filed appeal on the Orders to pay.

So, Casey may or may not have to pay for her lies. Certainly not for murdering her daughter. Her parents can go on to pocket more money than I care to speculate on.

We have to face it. Not accept it, but face it. The situation is what it is.

Depressing, huh?

Have Faith Krkrjx - the Piper always get paid - and the Piper is very very patient - and one thing I know for sure - the Piper ALWAYS get paid.....

Are you really thinking that the Anthony's making money and FCA making enough money to pay off her debts is going to bring any of them happiness? And most of all - peace in their lives.....

C'mon - what you are saying is that money is the key to happiness...and I don't believe you actually believe that....do you?

Oh no...I do not think it will bring any of them happiness. It will bring them creature comforts that they don't deserve, though.

But the thumbing their noses at the laws and the courts, and their total disregard for the victim get me riled. And, I guess it's just time to not get so riled over these people and their shady ways, since the situation is what it is and will probably even get worse before it gets better (if it gets better).

Yes only 6; that surprised me. Plus since he's rich and posted bail he was free to roam around before, after, and during breaks. Very strange.

..bob ward is charged with 2nd degree----that's why it's a jury of 6 (they also went with only 3 alternates , rather than 4..)

http://www.clickorlando.com/news/29153914/detail.html

Because Ward is charged with second, not first-degree-murder, only six jurors and four alternates are needed for the trial, instead of 12 jurors.

The lawyers settled on four men and two women for the jury panel — all of them mostly middle-aged or older. The alternates are two men and a woman.

..it is weird to see him just saunter out (with an ankle monitor) at recess and lunch breaks.

..his lawyer, kirk kirkkonell (amy huizenga's attorney) kinda gave me the (arrogant) cheney vibe at 1st, but i managed to warm up to him..a little.

..the jury is expected to reach a verdict saturday...WFTV will have it live.

okay - I know I'm old - but what is "trending" ??

Also - whomever is turning those People magazines around must live in my area!! LOL! Saw a few turned around yesterday at the Supermarket - and had to peek and see if it was OKC!! YES! :floorlaugh:

I flipped all the ones at my work over... Don't want to see her mug while I'm trying to work... lol

bob ward Guilty-----his attorney blames kc anthony.

http://blogs.orlandosentinel.com/en...he-didnt-get-the-casey-anthony-treatment.html

Defense attorney Kirk Kirkconnell told reporters after the verdict that “certainly what happened in Casey Anthony makes it more difficult for any defendant probably anywhere in the state of Florida to get a fair trial. And that’s a concern.”

Reporters pressed Kirkconnell on the point. “I think there’s a widely held prejudice against a defendant based on the Casey Anthony case because people may have felt that was not the proper verdict,” he said.

Oh, he's not but he listened very, very closely to what JA said and he thinks he may have been able to make sense of most of it soooooooo, he's an expert now. Yea, he is......trust me.
Does he travel with his board?

So.......they're saying it's payback?? OY!
Maybe they tried extra hard to get it right this time.

Personally, I think money will make them feel just fine.
They're not like most folks IMHO.

You didn't mention the WH part of it in your first post, only change.org and part of a sentence about the petition going directly to Washington, D.C. That part of the email is misleading if the reader doesn't understand what 'We the People' is; the email makes it sound like the petition-creator has gotten an assurance that 'they' will address this specific issue, when all it really means is that the petition is on the WH's site.

Regardless... 'We the People' is the White House's new petition section of its site. It's a communication tool to hear from Americans about issues that really matter to them. I suppose Casey Anthony is very important to some folks, but I think using the We the People function this way is a complete waste of time; the Dept of Justice isn't going to go after someone who has been acquitted based on a petition there or anywhere else.

Anybody can start a petition there, and staffers will respond to those that get 5000+ signatures. I expect a generic reply, something along the lines of 'We understand that many people have expressed their disagreement with the verdict in that case... 'and then they'll go on about the justice system and law enforcement blah blah blah yadda yadda yadda etc. etc. etc., with the end result being that they read the petition and filed it away. If that counts as addressing the issue for some people, then I hope they feel they have accomplished something by signing the petition. The WH isn't going to take action based on this petition, which is why I think it's meaningless; it's an 'issue' that isn't even theirs to act on, really.

It boggles my mind that anybody would want the White House to spend any time on Casey Anthony. With everything else going on in the world?
Well it sure as heck doesn't hurt to try. Obama said he wants to hear from the "people"...so let the people speak.

I find the comments Kirkconnell made appalling considering that he had to represent Amy Huizenga as the KC defense was trying to smear and harass her. Double speak.

i feel the same way as well but money isn't going to be coming in forever, imo...

i dont want time to fly too fast because i have a little one, who i would like to keep little for a while longer, but cannot wait to see where the Anthony's are 5 years down the road (FCA included). I have a feeling once their "popularity" (in a way people look at a train wreck) is gone, and there is no more money coming in, we'll be hearing about divorce, bankruptcy, alcoholism, and probable jail time for FCA. I have a feeling all the attention FCA is getting (if true) has a lot to do with making her marketable. A "softened" "educated" "grieving" FCA  is still a lying probable <dont want to get a time out> and who wants to waste their time on that? So what's left for her? KARMA :great: (and I'm not ashamed to say that makes me feel good!)

and, i have loved all your posts RR0004 since I became a member more than 3 years ago.... thank you!

(im still so angry about the verdict!!!!)

Right. While normal people feel guilty about getting money by questionable means, CA and KC will never feel that. They cannot feel guilt in the way that emotionally healthy people can. But I really do not believe any amount of money will bring them true happiness for the same reason...they cannot really experience happiness in a true sense. They live for the moment and even if they have fun or laugh it up for that moment, once the moment has passed so has the thrill.

I am going on the behaviors I have seen from these two and statements they have made. And...the way they can lie repeatedly with a straight face! I think they are just as accomplished at lying to themselves as they are to others. They really do not have the capacity for human emotion in a real way. Sadness is fleeting. Happiness is fleeting. Sorrow is fleeting. Guilt is immediately discounted with their own form of justification for whatever it is they have said or done. Neither of these women is right in the head, IMO.

I think they will enjoy the money while they have it. Once it is gone they will have nothing to show for any of it and, most importantly, no fond memories of happy times. Nope, once it is gone they will be out trying to bring in more by whatever means. Their whole lives will be about what they can take. There will be no giving. There will be no sense of community. I do not think they will be particularly bothered by this, though, because I do not think they realize all that life really has to offer. I doubt they will be aware of what they are missing.

Money is only money when you don't have it - during the times in my life when I had enough to be very comfortable - money was not important to me at all. But it isn't money the Anthony's want IMO - it is public recognition and ADMIRATION - to be "special" - a fawning over - and no matter what stunts they pull - I don't see that happening ever.

But that's what they want - why do you think they keep putting themselves in the spotlight - they want to be "stars".

Do you really believe that CA and KC think anyone admires them?

Fawned over, yes. "Special"...for now. But really, I think perhaps the only people in the world who admire CA are NG and BW. And I do not think KC has garnered admiration from anyone other than CM.

I agree this is something they WANT, but I think they want money too...and if they had to choose one or the other they would take the money. IMO.

ETA: Cindy could easily have garnered some admiration has she requested Dr. Phil make a donation in Caylee's name to an established victim's rights charity...instead of requiring it be made to her foundation. Again, IMO.

BBM. Appeal alert using this as his basis......don't think it will fly.:silly::silly:

Agree - she could have - but when has Cindy ever had the smarts to do things "the right way"? And I think NG has her marching orders from HLN - they want the Anthony's for a future interview...

Money won't bring CA happiness - it will do what it does to every one who has it - leaves a whole lot of space previously used fighting to get it open - to have the real demons in their lives appear. How many rich people do you know who die peacefully and happily in their beds of old age? Christina Onassis comes to mind - she was the richest woman in the world when she died. I love money - but I'm very aware it has nothing to do with happiness.

WOW, I like how you have worded this! I soooo hope you are right.

Patience has never been my virtue, I will admit. I want to see these people taken down. I am not wishing physical harm or death on any of them so don't get me wrong. I just want to seem them, as you put it, "Pay the Piper."
