Everyone seems to over look the fact that the prosecution had just as much a part of "getting those 12 idiots" as the defense did. Just another example of their inepitudeness.

Nah, the case was solid, Who could predict that Caylee would get 12 idiots to determine whether she would get justice or not?

I remember my husband texting me when the verdict came in and saying "Baby, I am so sorry but your BFF Casey just got off-not guilty."

He had listened to me rant and rave about this case and about the obnoxious defense team and how OBVIOUSLY no one in their right mind wouldn't see FCA was guilty as sin.

I still can't believe it. :(

I'll thousand the above kudo's for our members who are bravest and the smartest people in the world.

And...Dec. 12 was my big 5-0 and I elected to stay home, on the computer, here on WS, rather than have a party. Will never forget.

I'll never forget December 11th, 2008. It was the day I finally joined Websleuths. I had followed the case since day one and would lurk here. I was at work and my mom called me to tell me they found Caylee (not officially of course, but everyone knew it was her) and as soon as I got home, I joined Websleuths.

Will there be a link for the Livestream on the Local 6 website?

Websleuths Trivia Question:

Who was the first WS member who posted about Caylee going missing?

So when it gets close to eight o'clock - ermm - sorry eleven o'clock Florida time - do we all rush over to clickorlando.com or what????? I want to be prepared...:please:

Are you planning on taping the segment tonight ANJ?

I can't chat and tape unless I open another computer up.

We were cat ladies - specifically nine cats! (I named them at one time, will see if I can find that post - but it did inspire me to make a sunday funny on the name calling!)
Sundayfunnynotfunny.jpg

I remember that!!! I was up to 5 at the time. I am now down to 2. I rehomed 2 of them with a friend because of behavior issues. And my ancient black lady passed away 2 weeks ago. If it were up to Mr Red we would have none.

I missed you all so much. I am so glad to see so many familiar faces. Just for this I am not taking my nightime meds til 11. So I can wave at Jose:seeya:

The cats names and other cast members too! LOL

'
Who do you mean was "inept" ...the prosecution? So are you saying that FCA was guilty and the prosecution was so inept that they couldn't prove it? If so, what then, would you call a mother who would kill her own flesh and blood?

Inept?

Are you sure you aren't my husband?? If I didn't know better I would swear because you post some of the same things he says...

My husband's going to have the TV newscast on at 11, and I'll be here in the next room, on the computer....running back and forth, just like I did during the trial! He's an honorary Websleuther, my husband (the other dood)...just not computer literate!

Although I will agree they had some part in it, I will disagree that they had just as much a part. I think JP messed the jury selection up. Not only to he rush like the dickens, he disallowed at least one of the prosecution's preemptive (?) strikes because Mason claimed they were striking the juror due to her color. They were NOT....they were striking her because she said she did not feel she could judge people. And that is just the one that sticks in my head. I know that one juror may not have made any difference, but how do we know that the ONE juror that would have been selected instead of her would not have been the kind of person who said....hey, we are supposed to go over these jury instructions, examine the evidence, etc.

I know it may sound like sour grapes, but it is how I feel.
