Well, we kinda knew that the story was "off", but we sure as heck spent loads of time here trying to track down if the story was true or not.

Agree and I believe the LE had an obligation to do their due diligence on the kidnapping reporting.

So far, as pleased as I am with the outstanding work AZLawyer and JWG did - I'm not liking the OCSD and prosecution bashing and the extraordinary face time Jose Baez is getting. I'm just as pleased to see his face on the news as I was 1.5 years ago....:furious:

I'm waiting on that smackdown tonight Tony - don't let me down!!!

I have no idea what is being written, so I continue to live in blissful ignorance.

However, I will say, just because I have never testified in court as an expert does not mean I am not right. Jose's own expert has a bit of egg on his face right now because he used an older version of NetAnalysis to decode the Firefox history. If my reading of the NetAnalysis change logs is accurate, he used a version to decode the file that required he manually add a bias for time zone and daylight savings time.

He was sloppy. Seems that happens a lot with browser history on this case. :banghead:

The later versions of NetAnalysis and Cacheback do the time zone bias automatically. Just like the 2004 version of the Perl script I initially found to decode the file. All agree that the search was done an hour later than what Jose's book says. OCSO did the search earlier this week. They agree too. :thumb:

So Jose, you are right. I have never testified as an expert. But that does not mean I am wrong. It just means I have never testified as an expert.

JWG! Good job! I always was in awe of your posts and you lived up to that!

I'm sure! I was watching NG every night and reading Topix and other sites at that point. As you can see I joined here in Dec 2009. I finally got tired of looking for info and clicking on WS links which turned out to be private or have an image for members only. And then I found a home.

I got here just a bit before you - but I read here for close to two years and was afraid to join because every one here was so darned smart. Then I just couldn't stand it anymore - and blah blah blah - I haven't looked back. I thought I'd die the first time someone said "link please" to one of my posts though!!

I'm still not as smart but most of the time it just doesn't matter - I'm among friends.....

You're so awesome.

Oh please....you are just as smart as anyone! Well except maybe our two heroes who are smarter then most of us! And we had each other through all the hearings and the trial. Remember our :pillowfight: !!

And she had 2 of the most [unusual people] on earth for what we normal people endearingly refer to as "grandparents".

A die-hard Casey supporter  on another site posed the question: "So tell me why Casey didn't just use that huge pool in the back yard as her means of suffocation rather than using Google?"

I'll tell you why.

Casey had no idea whether Caylee's body might be discovered long before it decayed into bones, therefore if found sooner, water in Caylee's lungs would have given the State "that huge pool in Casey's backyard" as evidence.

It behooved Casey to murder Caylee as "fool-proof" as she was able to master, leaving few traces of her own handiwork behind.

Did you reply with....Because the neighbors might hear Casey drowning Caylee?????

Hi JWG! :seeya: So glad to finally "hear from you" again and be able to personally thank you for your heroic contribution! You and AZlawyer will both be at the head of my "what I am thankful for" list tomorrow. I admire you both more than my limited words can convey!

Thank you!

Thank you for the 'correction', Bond, my apologies. :blowkiss:

I don't suffer fools lightly and my #1 disgust are people who tell outright, bold-faced "mistruths" ( @ Cindy's word), particularly when it comes to the utter disgrace & disregard shown to Caylee by the Anthonys both before and after she was murdered by Casey.

Casey's calloused demeanor is maddening, but for me personally, the Anthonys had nearly as much of a hand in Caylee's murder as did Casey. They're all guilty of doing their own share of demolition to Caylee's short life and disrespect to her memory thereafter.

I thought of that, but if you knew this umm, "unusual poster" (afraid Bond is watching :giggle: ) who posts on this other site, well, suffice it to say that I've read her carp for so long that I can now pre-empt her replies.

To your remark, her retort would have been, " Hey &*$^%, if you hold someone UNDER water, you wouldn't hear any screaming!"

Trust me on this one, I know her.

BTW - I didn't post a reply over there, I refuse to give her the satisfaction of the argument.

Hugs Strawberry - despite the tragic reason we are here - we sure had some good times along with it!!:floorlaugh:

What does it matter whether JWG or AZ have been 'expert' witnesses?

Excuse me for snickering when I think of the 'experts' that Baez brought to the court... some were self-styled experts and positively embarrassing to watch.
Can you say Dr Spitz and the grief lady?

Bwaahhhh hhhahahaa!! The grief lady!!! :great:

I know you probably mean disrespect in the sense that Caylee was forgotten in order to save Casey, but one of the things that made me the angriest was when the Anthonys had Caylee cremated.
So much hard work was done to find her remains and put her 'back together' and it seemed as though the Anthonys wanted to reduce her even further by burning what was left.
I don't have anything against cremation and it was their choice, one that many people make when a body isn't viewable, but for some reason it seemed like the final insult by an Anthony.
IMO

As much as I love being here with all of you, as much as I have missed all of you in our common cause for justice for our baby...I have spent alot of time trying to come to terms with what has transpired. It has been extremely painful. But I have tried to move on.

It feels like old times, finding "new evidence' that points to this person's guilt.

But, instead, the ending is already written. She gets off scott-free (yep, hyphen). Nothing can change that. Karma...we await you. Where the heck are you? JB is getting more press and spinning BS again.

Why o why did I get all hyped up again?

JWG....:rocker:

I will say again..IMO Baez fails to appreciate the intelligence and expertise of others and instead chooses to publicly denigrate
praise should be given where it is due as is the case with AZ and JWG

 good grief
It was utterly painful to watch and listen to Spitz and the grief lady...simply baffling

JB's just upset because he was outwitted by someone who's not a chemist. :floorlaugh:

I'm assuming you didn't come across my posts much.

LG, I did the same thing--lurked for a long time, reading, learning and in total awe of the brilliant minds at work here on WS. My first post was for Haleigh Cummings, and I finally took that plunge because I was just so angry that another little Florida girl was gone and the people that were supposed to care the most, to protect her at all costs, had failed her so miserably and then had the gall to whine about how they were being scrutinized.

Someone posted here earlier that something is wrong with the Universe. I have to agree. And it cannot continue like this. Things have gone radically wrong that have to eventually be righted. Somehow.

Who uses the word "fool-proof" to describe the act of suffocation when they want to make sure they will succeed? Fool-proof?

Can any of our WS computer experts tell me if there would be a copy of the page that Google displayed showing the search results? Does that make sense? I'm wondering if any of the brief intros that they show under each link that Google comes up with may have included words like duct tape or chloroform...

Did that even make sense? I don't speak computer very well. :(
