Sidney & Tammy Moorer, Contempt of Court Hearing, Heather Elvis case, 31 July 2017

  • #201
Good Morning peeps! I agree with the previous posts above. I'm honestly not sure but I think (IMO) that there is no way in he** SM is smart enough to pull off an elaborate murder by himself. In the tapes, he just blabbed and blabbed about all sorts of stuff that made no sense whatsoever. I want to hear TM interviews. I want to know if she was questioned by LE and if not, why? I want to hear her talking about what happened that night, what her thoughts are on HE/SM affair (officially on stand not just online rants) and the timeline. We have never actually heard her talking (on stand or in police interview) other than typed words on Social Media trash talking or lying, have we? Why is that? When is her day in court? Also, WHY is Judge Dennis still around working on this case? He said yesterday he is 70- shouldn't he be retiring soon?

JMO IMO I'm rambling on this morning b/c this case just frustrates me so much and I have tons of questions.

I have read this before but re-reading this article it is just unbelievable that these two people have not been locked up. My guess is TM made SM tell HE to meet at the boat landing. He does it out of some misplaced guilt of cheating on her and risking losing the marriage and kids. TM and SM go to the boat landing together and she either does something or forces him to. This reminds me of The Adrianne Jones murder in alot of respects. I hope justice is eventually served for this family.

I still think she was killed at Longbeard's, dumped in that dumpster, and by the time they got her phone records/pings showing she was there, she was long gone in whatever landfill that dumpster trash goes to. In this scenario others had to be involved based on what was heard at the trial, and let's not forget the mysterious disabling of the truck's GPS, which obviously points to this being premeditated.

TM would've been blabbing all over Facebook if she had been pregnant. moo

I think this story was to cover for SM buying the pregnancy test that night.

I totally agree. Back then. TM couldn't resist giving the play by play of each and every tiny detail of her fabulous life - to imagine she wouldn't announce a pregnancy, meme it to death, etc., is unfathomable to me.

Nowadays, her profile is much more locked down than back then, but I think spinning stories on fb about her supposedly fabulous, fantastic life B.S. Ceased to work when pics were posted of her dirty home...you know, when reality was shown!

I still believe her father had something to do with it some shape or form, either the final blow to finish her off after the Mrs. or to dispose of Heather's body.

Hi everyone! I was so busy yesterday that I totally missed the hearing!! and I was unable to catch up until today .. thank you to everyone who posted the play-by-play and videos. I am actually almost glad I missed it, as I might not have a computer screen any longer after having to look at TM and hear everything again!! :) I think from the start that I have always felt it was TM who orchestrated the whole thing .. she is an insecure, sad excuse of a person, and I don't think it was above her at all to commit murder, or at least be a part of it, no matter if she paid someone to do it, or what .. I hope they both get what is coming to them, and the Elvis family gets justice for Heather!!!

a few seconds ago

Sidney Moorer said he called Heather Elvis from a pay phone and told her to leave him alone, according to the taped interview.

Moorer said that conversation could have been four minutes.

The detective asked Moorer what prompted him to call Elvis that night, since he had been with his wife and having sex. He said he wanted to tell Elvis that she needed to stop leaving notes and to leave him alone.

Am I remembering right that the night they were having sex in the car TM was sending photos of them to HE? Was it that same night? But then SM is saying he was calling HE to leave THEM alone?

Some pieces of the recorded conversation:

"Where did you meet her?" Martin asked Moorer during the interview. "Usually if I was working or something like that she would stop by the place I was working or whatever and we would talk for a few minutes and she would leave," responded Moorer, about Elvis.

Police continued asking about Moorer's relationship with Elvis, his whereabouts the night she went missing and a phone call between the two. Police say Moorer was the last person to talk to Elvis.

"There was a phone call made to Heather from a payphone at the gas station on 10th Avenue. We have video from that," said Sgt. Martin in the interview. "Did you try calling her with it?" Martin asked Moorer. "No," responded Moorer. "You sure?" asked Martin. "Maybe," admitted Moorer. "How about we start again," suggested Martin. "Ok, I did. I called her," said Moorer.

Moorer went on to explain that he called Elvis to tell her to stop contacting him.

Towards the end of the interview tape, police asked Moorer if he would agree to a polygraph test. Moorer said no, not without talking to a lawyer.

It was never confirmed that it was the same night. My opinion is that it was not the same night.

I am hoping that since SMs retrial will be in georgetown, Judge Dennis and his nasty sexist attitude will NOT be presiding over the case!

Gah! I got caught up in the Corbett case and forgot about this. Thanks for posting! I still believe that TM was the force behind HE's disappearance. The Elvis family deserves answers. I can't imagine their pain.

The State believes comments made on Tammy Moorer’s Facebook page from June 2017 to July 2017 are in violation of the gag order on the case.

A motion filed by the Solicitor’s Office says comments were made on the facts of the case, witness’ credibility and comments about the victim’s family.

It was continued. No new date. Which was odd because no one knew Sidney was on the docket at 11 a.m.
