Police investigating body found Saturday morning in Socastee

Article states they're still trying to determine COD, and it says "body" vs skeletal remains, but Peachtree Rd. caught my attention.

Will they still be tried together?

According to my notes the Motion was filed for one trial, but I don't believe a Judge has granted or denied that yet. At least I haven't seen any updates on that.

Just wanted to pop in here and say that October cannot come soon enough! I am always checking for updates, maybe one of these two fools will confess, or something but sadly, no .... Still keeping the Elvis family in my thoughts!!

It worked fine for me. I can see that charges were filed 4/27/18 and it says "pending" but I don't see any other dates attached to the charges. Not even the October trial date.

The State has filed a joinder motion to try the Moorers together starting Oct. 8, 2018 on all pending charges, to “maintain judicial economy, preserve the State’s right to joinder and minimize the burden on the many out-of-Circuit witnesses needed to testify.”

Judge says until they get a jury panel, he doesn't know, he might be right. However, he's not going to prejudge and say they're absolutely not going to be able to get an impartial jury, so motion to change venue denied.
