LONDON (May 1) - Boy George is out on bail after being arrested Saturday for allegedly imprisoning a male escort at his London home.
British authorities confirm that a "man in his forties" is being investigated over allegations made by Auden Carlsen, who claims George and another man chained him up after the singer invited him to pose for pictures.

The Daily Mail reports that Carlsen met the former Culture Club star on the Web site Gaydar, and agreed to pose for pictures at his apartment for a fee. He denied he was working as an escort.
Carlsen, 28, said he feared for his life when Boy George pounced on him and tied him up. "George handcuffed me to a hook by the bed as they held me down."
He said the singer, whose real name is George O'Dowd, got rid of the blond man then produced a box of whips and sex toys — telling him: "Now you’ll get what you deserve." (more at link)

I think he's desperate to get the attention he once had year ago when Culture Club was a hit.

I would hardly say they were the poor man's Village People. Most people who grew up in the 80s couldn't name any of the guys in the Village People were as many know of Boy George.

Maybe you don't like them Peter, but they were definitely relevant to the music scene at the time.

I happened to love them and still do their music and found them quite entertaining.

I think he's quite talented, it's too bad he can't get his life in order.

i dunno... it just sounds to me like they were just having a romping good time and playing 'domanitrix'.. when the guy suddenly got the idea that it would make a good story to sell to the tabloids, and that maybe he could clean up in a lawsuit too.
