From what was ascertained today earlier Joe Placker wasn't even a big player in the gun/cig. scheme.

Why would this explain the extreme violence on the girls?

Seems more like if they were going to retaliate against a Placker they would chose Joe Placker's kids or grandkids.

I really don't know. Why would Joe Jr. be her father? Why would Peter have one of his brother's grandchildren? I am sure there is someone in the JP immediate family that could raise any child that Joe Jr. may have had.

For all I know the media could have it wrong. They had it wrong in the Maria Lauterbach case when they said Mary Lauterbach was her stepmother.

Last night on Greta, Rosser called him the father.

I honestly do not know but there is also another Paschal daughter, I believe Jessica, could be the Mother rather than the brother being the father. It seems more likely one of the Paschal children would be her true parent because of the hyphenated name.

That makes perfect sense. I'm not positive, but I believe when a grandparent adopts they have to change the name and including the biological name would still give the child a connection. Was the other daughter at the funeral? If not, then she is probably the mother and the real dad is nowhere around or is in prison with rights terminated.

If any threats were about, it seems to me that warnings would have been stated out there by the . If money was owed or deals broken and needed to be "fixed", there would be warnings out there if they were not fulfilled. Unless there is any family member who has not been honest with LE concerning illegal dealings and the thought/threat of family harm, I do not believe this was the cause of these murders. Feels like a reach to me.

Since half the family has been incarcerated I doubt they can list every threat made against them - prison threats happen daily. For all we know the person doing the threatening AND the person threatened are both in prison. And the family is large - there are a LOT of Plackers and Paschals - do we know ALL of them are so honest that they would tell LE (who they are obviously NOT on good terms with) the truth? What if they have been threatened and don't want to endanger THEIR loved ones by telling LE? Two girls are dead, not exactly an incentive for them to open up to LE and possibly put their own family in danger.

And finally, it appears that several of the family have a habit of dealing in drugs, guns and stolen property. I don't believe they feel like inviting LE in for a long talk about what bad guy they might have pissed of - in fact they might not want to talk to LE at ALL. I think outstanding warrants, being on parole and stuff like that have a way of keeping people from talking openly and honestly with LE - and those are a definite possibility for a LOT of the family. This is NOT a family who has a good relationship with LE - I would assume that most of them despise anyone with a badge from prison guards to the FBI and their past experiences with LE have NOT ended up positive for them. Plus they certainly would not want to incriminate themselves by revealing their own criminal connections - even associating with another criminal could send a lot of them back to prison on a parole violation.

I see long lists of drug violations, criminal violations, incarcerations and arrests associated with this family. I see associations with known felons and gangs. I see years of BAD relationships with the law. I see very little that makes me believe that every family member has sat down with LE and told them every little detail of their lives or given LE a detailed list of every other criminal they know. And what if revealing an association, a threat or a problem puts THEIR FREEDOM at risk? What if they are dealing drugs and can't reveal the threat without admitting their own criminal activity? What if they are afraid that THEY will be held culpable in some way by LE or their family?

I am sure the Placker/Paschal Family wants this horrible, senseless murder solved ASAP. Perhaps they are all telling LE everything they know and every lead they can think of - but that usually isn't the case with folks who have been burned by LE over and over. These are not the sort of people who believe LE when they say they don't care about what criminal acts they may have committed so long as they give them the leads. Obviously trust in LE hasn't usually worked out so well for them and others in their family in the past.

This may be reaching but maybe Taylor's parentage has been hidden for other reasons that are not so obvious?

Joe Placker junior (age 35) and his wife, Ann Marie Davis (age 37) were married in 1993 and divorced in 2005. They had three children. At the time of their divorce, the judge awarded primary custody of the oldest child to Joe Placker, and primary custody of the two younger children to Ann Marie.

With Joe Placker junior in prison, someone else must have custody of his oldest child. The most likely person to get custody is his ex-wife, mother of the children, Ann Marie. But, we don't know what her current status is.

No he's not, and they raised her as a daughter and called her as such. Leila or someone found docs that Joe and Ann(?) gave one child up in the midst of their DV drama. IIRC, JMO, etc. etc.

From reading this forum to scanning others I have yet to see one peep regarding her or her family as a possible target. Zilch. But I may have missed something also.

I'm just trying to piece this all together. Who started the rumor that they are not Taylor's bio parents?
The media?
Probably because Peter and Vicki look older the media assumed it was her grandparents.
That's a thought.
The media gets a lot wrong in the rush to beat the competition.
