And I wonder what the term "Weak clues concern kin" means? What weak clues are they talking about?

Local rumors is what comes to mind. If they are weak clues, why mention it at all?

MissHolmes:

When SuziQ posted that, I was wondering why the "kin" were worried about "weak clues" and NOT LE?? But something else came up and I lost that thought until now.

So is this saying that Taylor's and/or Paschal's family are concerned about the lack of clues left at the scene??

I think the lack of clues or progress in the case? Now that I reread that, it could mean concern as in involve kin? I was mainly focusing on everyone around the girls being questioned. So many ways that could be interpreted.

A question I keep meaning to ask. I obviously missed where the info about a 9MM semi-automatic being involved came from. Was it from Greta or NG? TIA.

Flowerchild:

Thank you. If one were to imagine that scene, it would appear that Taylor was maybe talking to the POI and Skylar maybe slowly walking backward to maybe run for help.

But something happened, then Taylor gets shot first, and the Skylar who according to your picture is directly behind her gets shot next.

Then comes the final kill shots.

Doesn't this Joe Placker (Bandidos) have children of his own who would be targeted over a great niece out in the "middle of nowhere?"...if Taylor is even his relative.

It's been stated that Peter and Vickie Placker (Taylor's grandparents) left Oklahoma City because of the violence. Perhaps Peter and/or Vickie made an enemy of some of the members of the motorcycle gang by testifying against them or giving LE information against members of the gang.

This Tony Paschal matches the picture on Linda Kaye Plackers page - if I am reading this right he was just released 5/19/2008?

It sure looks like one and the same guy. He's got a lengthy criminal career, beginning in 1980 when he was 34-years-old: burglary, bruglary with a weapon, drug crimes, and illegal distribution of drugs.

Do you think Taylor's dad could be Joe Richard Placker jr? I know it's been said that Taylor lives with her grandparents...but she calls them her parents. With all the confusion I wouldn't be too surprised if she called her great aunt and uncle grandma and grandpa...

Taylor could be the oldest child of Joe Placker junior and his wife, Ann Marie Davis. Joe is now 35-years-old and his ex-wife, Ann, is 37. So they're the right age to have a 13-year-old child.

I think the girls were probably walking together and Taylor is targeted first, and falls first, in that split second, Skyla instinctively reacts and goes back and towards the woods, but she is shot quickly too. I think the position of them is just how they fell.

When I look at that tattoo, and tilt my head to the left it looks like a face to me. I see eyes.

I can't see the crime scene graphic. Is there something I need to do to see it.

If they were face up with their heads towards the road, would they have been standing in between the road and the shooter?

Thanks! Interesting when anyone questions why go after Taylor and her grandparents. I would suspect that Taylor was targeted by someone who had a grudge against the real parents not the grandparents. So yeah, it's reasonable to think that Taylor would be targeted.

Sorry, but I see some type of dog in this picture. But what's the extra "appendages" on the top of the head? It could be because of the black outline that makes it appear that way though.

Without the black outline, it looks totally different!!!

I'm reposting a post I made earlier today for anyone who thinks it may not be acceptable to delve into family connections. LE thinks it's relevant. We should as well. If you don't feel comfortable talking about the family, then don't. I'd hate to see this thread evolve into one where the discussion mainly focuses on what should and shouldn't be discussed.

Weak clues concern kin
Armed with some new information but "nothing solid” from weekend roadblocks, investigators spent much of Monday re-interviewing friends and family members, said Jessica Brown, Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman.
"Everybody surrounding the two children are part of the questioning,” she said

Truly, I don't think it's just about discussing family, but not discussing other possibilities that can be. The focus of much discussion has been primarily the family on this thread as well as previous ones.

It's not about evolving into what should or should not be discussed, IMVHO, concerning family, but looking at it even further and beyond. Isn't that what Sleuthers do???

Maybe I'm seeing things, but I see a dragon head. The neck is to the left, dark spot is an eye w/ nose/muzzle directly below.

Hey guys,
I've been following this case since the beginning, I'm a lurker ;-) I found this article that has new info (I don't think I've read this here yet at least)

FOX23 crews experienced another unsettling situation near Taylor’s home last night.

As our crew was leaving, they saw three sheriff's deputies and a state trooper speeding down the road.

They parked in front of the house, searching the woods around the home and down the road with flashlights and patrol cars. During the search the family left the home for the night.

Deputies say the family called 911 after hearing someone sneaking around the home. Someone even says they saw a shadow outside. Deputies did not find anyone, but say they might have gotten away before they arrived.

How creepy, that poor family :-(

Wouldn't the crew that was about to leave be the ones making noise, that might have been magnified on that road at night?
