I'm sorry. I didn't read all of the replies. I only made it 2 minutes into the video and then I had to turn it off. The more I watched it, the more I wanted to take the monitor and smash it on the floor (I'm sure my employer wouldn't appreciate that)

After all I've seen and read about in this case, I didn't think I could despise KC any more than I did but that changed tonight. She is the most useless, evil, that I have ever seen. Five minutes alone with her is all I want. Just to see the fear and terror on her face like I'm sure Caylee had in her last few moments of her life. She is truly despicable and there should be no reason that she should remain alive on this earth wasting precious oxygen.

That was a very bizarre beginning. Casey couldn't understand why her mother would be upset and crying. It was more like she was talking to them from summer camp than from jail.

And then when she commented on the Caylee T-shirts. When her parents told her what the T-shirts said, she just said they were nice. I can't imagine most mothers wouldn't break down at the slogan on the T-shirts when their child is missing.

This is probably the way Casey has always manipulated them. She's just mad that this time it's not working like it usually does. She probably really thought mommy and daddy would just make all this go away. Really amusing how if she could just get out of jail, she could do something to get Caylee back - hint, hint, c'mon, just get me out of here somehow and then you'll get what you want. If you don't help me get out, then I'm not going to help. Then, of course, when she gets bailed out she doesn't do anything.

I wonder if George and Cindy would leave these visits thinking the same thing.Did it even occur to them that she was more interested in her own plight than in Caylee? or did they justify her actions in some way.It's so obvious to us,but was it to them?

I honestly believe that she completely enjoys torturing her parents.

She was enjoying punishing Cindy for asking to many questions so she only talked to George at one point which was killing Cindy and Casey knew it..

If I were Casey- locked in jail while my baby was "missing" and I truly had nothing to do with her disappearance, I would want to talk about nothing other than what is being done to find my baby.

I would not be a topic of conversation. I would want to know every single minute detail of the investigation- where they looked, tips called in, etc. I would be looking so hard for a thread of hope that my child was ok.

I sure as hell would not make the 30 minutes I have with my parents all about me.


That video screams guilt as much as Casey's actions after Caylee went missiing.

ITA - I'm going to watch it again, after my stomach settles, and verify my first impression. At no point in the conversation, did Casey ever initiate any discussion about Caylee.

Yes. When Jose is making network cameos, it's business (I believe there were photos paid for, no?). When George and Cindy are making media cameos, it's for their own edification, as far as Casey is concerned.

This family knows her better than we do. There's a reason they walk on eggshells. She is a cruel, violent person. Always has been. It has been the family secret. They have all caterred to her throughout her life. What I can't resolve is how they allowed her to be alone with Caylee at all. What is wrong with these people?

Whatever she did to Caylee most days, she didn't leave marks, but it was not good. Almost every minute with Caylee must have been shear h$%^ for darling Caylee. Casey is a psychopath. We all knew it and now anyone with a thinking brain can witness it. May the devil welcome Casey home soon. I am sickened by her and by anyone that caters, believes,trusts, or defends her. George and Cindy....wake up! The sooner you release her from your heart or brains, the better you will be. God bless the rest of the family, there is not much else to ask for.

I totally agree about why G & C walk on egg shells. I actually believe George and Cindy are afraid of Casey and they have every right to be. Remember Cindy saying on her my space something like "who is going to look out for the little angel now?"

I am no fan of the A's, they drive me nuts, but I don't think Cindy could control Casey in any way. Cindy needed to work to pay the bills, so, imo, she used Casey as a free daytime babysitter. When Casey would go out at night, Cindy, after a long day at work, would be with Caylee and seemed to love her tremendously.

Cindy was in the process of at least thinking about getting custody of Caylee, since she did mention that (and fat chance of her winning that one, imo). But as Cindy said in her my space in the first week of July, "She left without warning," (or something like that), meaning, that except for the week prior to Caylee's murder, when Casey claimed to be taking a trip to Jacksonville with Caylee, Cindy had Caylee's well being and whereabouts pretty much under control.

Cindy cannot control another adult. Short of physically stopping Casey from walking out the door (which we knew Cindy finally did resort to wrapping her hands around Casey scrawny little neck), what could Cindy do? I do think she had custody in mind and more power to her for starting those wheels in motion by talking to a counselor about it.

I have not understood Cindy loving the media attention or Cindy standing by her lying murderer of a daughter, but she has been abused by Casey for a while, the whole family was, imo, but once Caylee was born, maybe Cindy let Casey get away with more because she needed her as a free babysitter in order to keep supporting everyone in that house. I do think deep down Cindy worried about Caylee being in Casey's care. I do not think in her wildest nightmares Cindy would think Casey would be murderer of the year, though.

I agree the family needs to release Casey from their hearts. Only then will they begin to attempt to heal.

Wow, powerful stuff. No mention of her missing Caylee, no worry about Caylee, no worry there are no leads yet, just ME ME and WHAT ABOUT ME! My god, and she didn't pick Lee to visit because it would just be "an interrogation!" No Sh** Sherlock! I think this is very powerful stuff before a jury. If my daughter werr missing and my parents came wearing new T-Shirts to bring her home I would have been hysterical! I found it interesting that CA had to bring up the fact that KC chose to see GA and not her. Apple doesn't fall far from the tree-been saying that since day one.

So, aparently, in kc's mind she has been sent to her room (she refers a few times to her cell as her "room") and questions "what she is supposed to be learning from that".

IMO she see's JB as more of a personal assitant, than a lawyer. He keeps her majesty informed of everything going on, keeps her appointments, takes care of those bothersome motion hearings.

I found it refreshing when CA tells kc "I hope he (jb) is informing you of what you're up against." There might be some hope yet for CA.

I noticed that too. She thinks she is "in her room". She is one CRAZY biotch Not insane crazy, like get off of a murder wrap crazy, just CRAZY EVIL CRAZY.:furious::furious:

I think the most telling moment for me in this whole video is when George asked her how she made it through Saturday (which would have been Caylee's 3rd birthday). He asked her how she made it on a day that should have been just emotionally devastating for a mother who didn't know where her baby was. And her response?

I didn't. I spent the day in bed with the covers over my head and then I FOUND OUT MOM MADE CHILI AND YOU GUYS HAD A HOUSE FULL OF PEOPLE OVER...

Not a mention of Caylee. Not a mention of missing her or imagining what her birthday should have been, or anything. Just YOU GUYS HAD A CHILI PARTY! waaaaaa!

At the point where CA says that someone said that Caylee was dead, KC's eyes got HUGE. Then CA said that was the latest story, and KC looked so relieved. That was creepy.

Then she says, "Surprise, surprise." Who answers that kind of statement that way?

Yes, I couldn't help but notice that their manipulation game was a 2 way street. They tried to manipulate the truth from her, she tries to manipulate with her lies and the poor me, I'm a victim here act. Disgusting.

I have no doubt that CA and GA loved little Caylee and are grieving very deeply, I do have sympathy for them regarding their loss. But that's as far as it goes... We don't know what kind of parents GA and CA really are, as nobody knows what really goes on behind closed doors. The A's including LA were well aware that visits to KC are video recorded, and held their so called "treating KC with kid gloves" demeanor accordingly. IMO the reason they treated her with this same treatment while she was out on bond was because they didn't have the privacy to treat her any other way. People were watching, there were people in that house at all times. IMO, life in that house before all of this happened was full of negativity, manipulation, lying, screaming, yelling and even violence from every member of that family. Does everyone honestly think when CA physically grabbed KC around her neck, it was the first time?...I sure don't. They are all hot heads IMO. LA seemed to have a problem with authority right from the get go. For somebody who desperately wanted to find his niece, he didn't want to take a lie detector test and convinced GA and CA not to either, He did not give his fingerprints or DNA willingly...if he had nothing to hide, then he forced authorities to take precious time away from finding Caylee, to obtain a warrent for no other reason than to show a power play...basically an "in your face" with the middle finger gesture IMO. That whole family has issues with control and power play...and I believe they would all "lie, cheat, and steal" to get it, as KC would state. Well, this is one case where the apples does not fall far from the tree IMO. OK...I'm done, this should have gone on the rant thread I'm sure....sorry :crazy:

P.S. I just realized this visit was just after Caylee's birthday. Remember how GA and CA were so hopeful she would be back by her birthday on the 9th? And KC at one point intimated to Lee that she thought she would be back by then. Did you notice no mention that Caylee just had a birthday even? All of them are whacked, jmho

check out the August calendar for Casey time line. Very interesting chain of events. Busy month. She meets with DC on the 8th, she writes a letter to the Sheriff asking for a visit with George. JB requests to extend immunity until Sept 2. ( the 11, 12, 13 MR calls in report of suspicious object)

Makes you wonder if there was some conflict as to whether to go for a plea deal, KC on the edge to fess, extendng the immunity offer and, the A's trying hard to get a breakthrough -- since I think LE was completely open to it being an accident -- versus -- JB buying some time but ultimately shutting them down to take control and go for broke!!! Remember he blew off LE and the immunity, did not even respond and got arrogant. Investors come into play?

It was a brief crisis for the Defense because it was all nearly over before it got started -- now JB has it locked in, deals signed and, is hiring for the trial of the century.

I just have a question... Can the other parent hear what KC is saying through the phone for example, can GA hear what KC is saying while she's talking to CA, or do they only have the Video to go on unless they are holding the receiver?

Yes they did talk about it. That's what the whole chili incident was about. GA has to reassure KC that there were only a few people there, not the Fusion-type party KC imagined.
