It's so completely, and utterly-all-about-Casey. She doesn't want to be one of those parents who doesn't know if their kid is coming home...not a single empathetic concern for Caylee's well-being.
Cindy states that at least they know Casey's alright, she's safe, but, there's no way to know if Caylee's abductor's are feeding her, caring for her. Casey can't stand the shift of attention away from herself so she states, "...but I'M not alright..."
