She sawed it off with a saw, just after taking out five separate insurance policies. The relatives deliberately left the hand behind when taking her to hospital t ensure permanent disability and max payout. But the authorities retrieved it and sewed it back. Now all under arrest.

Silly woman. She will likely never recover full use of her hand or fingers and no 400k to show for it either.

My insurance policy is so bad that it probably wouldn't even cover such a thing. They'd be like, "Sorry sucker! Here's a Bandaid."

I know it's not the point, but Slovenia is a lovely country, full of beautiful scenery, kind-hearted people, and an interesting history. I hate it what we hardly hear of stories from places like these unless they're weird or bad.
