Tell me I am not dreaming. At some point early on RH was speaking to someone in "code", well maybe not code, but he was using the military alphabet. Something was said about it then it was quickly excused after realizing he had been a 911 dispatcher. Does anyone else remember that?

I remember too. It's when he was being interviewed by Det Stoddard the day Cooper died.

Verified. He was speaking to thm using cop lingo and code. To,add, which,LE,felt, was very odd at the time.

And he also refused a direct order from LE to get off his phone twice and then said fu or guys one or the other.

Does anyone Hv his weight and height info? I'd like to compare to see if he was underweight and not hitting his milestones.

You actually think that's acceptable behavior by someone whose job is to "protect and serve"?????????????????

What I think is unacceptable.... When they show up to protect and serve ....and they are basically "put on hold" while a phone conversation is continued....

I can't even imagine the aggravation that comes from dealing with unappreciative, rude, obnoxious people law enforcement has to protect and serve in any given day...and that's not counting the scum of the earth criminals, murderers, petty thieves, junkies, dealers, all the way down to the ridiculous excuses people use in attempt to get out of tickets....

Oh but wait while I finish this call??? Really?

All IMO

Yep, she nailed it. It was a lame attempt at building rapport

So Evie, do you think that Ross did not buckle Cooper because he was too big for the seat and thus the straps COULDN'T be buckled? And if so, why do you think he continued to use a seat which could not be properly buckled? Do you think it was only within the last day or so that Cooper got too big to be buckled into it, and that Ross was simply putting off buying a new seat or intended to buy a new one soon? I am just genuinely confused about why you feel so strongly that Cooper was not buckled in. Thanks!

Thank you! So he was trying to chum
up with them . That is what I thought.
He does give me serious Drew Peterson vibes.
But even Drew Peterson didn't harm his kids.
(Well he did, by what he did to their moms) but I mean he worked hard and earned a living n stuff...
I can not believe I am making a comparison to Drew and liking him more at the moment.
I feel sure that Leanna was in some mortal danger at the time. I still think she is lucky to be alive.

Try working in a pediatric office. Parents won't even hang the phone up or quit texting long enough to tell you why they are there. It got old. I'm sure LE has dealt with it so many times they really don't care if they tick someone off.
For me personality if a doctor , nurse, police officer, paramedic etc approaches me because I sought their help, my phone is hung up before they even open their mouth.

I have no idea why they were using that seat--that would be an interesting question for RH and LH to answer. On this forum, it's been said that the small seat was actually in LH's car up until a recent trip she took to AL when they switched seats. I just don't see anything sinister about it--maybe stupid, but not sinister.

It's not that I feel so strongly that Cooper wasn't buckled in, but I do feel strongly that there is no evidence of that fact. The same as there is no evidence of the baby being buckled tight into a car seat that was too small for him, no evidence of that at all--except for RH's statement to LE.

Heck, I don't think anyone here even knows Cooper's height and weight, do they? Or is everyone pretty much guessing his size and how he fit into the car seat? And from the conversations I've seen, it's just a guessing game as to which specific car seat he was even in that day.

It's not their job to assume everyone who talks on a phone is a criminal. Not everyone who talks on their phone in the presence of LE is law-breaking scum--especially when they're in the middle of a personal crisis. My own experience with this type of behavior is definitely affecting my take on that situation.

I thought we had info on exact car seat.
I was thinking chicco keyfit 30. 4-30lbs rear facing seat

LE knows Cooper's height and weight. LE stated that Cooper was to big for that car seat. I know that some don't believe anything LE says, in court or out of court, however it makes zero sense for LE to lie about something that is going to come out during the trial. The same goes for the Home Depot video that is time stamped of Harris arriving at work.

I just don't understand why he wouldn't have buckled him in. Are you thinking that something distracted him from doing the buckle after he placed Cooper in the seat, or that he was in too much of a hurry to do the buckle as he was running late to work? If you are in the habit of using a car seat it is just kind of second nature to do the buckle after placing the child in the seat. I would venture to say that if you stopped 100 cars with children in car seats, at least 99% of them would be buckled in. Buckling is the norm for those who use car seats....NOT buckling is what would be unusual. I have 2 kids and I don't ever remember arriving at my destination only to find that I had neglected to buckle them in. Is forgetting to fasten the buckle a common oversight?

Also, if LE is lying about Cooper being buckled in, what is their motivation? If they are just trying to make Ross look like a bad father, I would think they would LOVE to publicize the fact that Ross didn't even bother to properly secure his child.

You're right. It isn't LE's job to assume that everyone who talks on a phone is a criminal. It is their job to protect and serve EVERYONE. And when LE show up to do their job because they were called to a scene, the person talking on the phone instead of talking with LE that are standing right there is taking time away from everyone else that needs LE's help.

A dead child was lying on the parking lot ground, clearly deceased for some time, and his father is to busy "not talking to anyone" to pay any attention to those that were there to help. A phone call can be cut short with a simple "Let me call you back, I need to speak with LE".

IME no it is not a common oversight. What good is a car seat if you don't buckle the child in it? I firmly believe that Cooper was in fact buckled in his car seat. However, perhaps it "helps" explain Harris not being guilty somehow. Although I don't see how.

....how touchy people get about things that don't meet their religious expectations. I am afraid that the whole sexting issue may be clouding this tragedy. .... I can't help but think that this testimony is slanted towards morals. I have a problem with the choices made by RH in the morality department--but sex, 🤬🤬🤬🤬, sexting, etc., etc., has grabbed a hold of many married men so I don't think it has any bearing on this case at all--he's just another number when it comes to that. ...JMHO
SBM BBM

Seems like sexting was part of his preoccupation.
Seems his side biz- the Ninth Hour website development - also preoccupied him.
Seems his lunch w both Ninth Hour co-entrepreneurs also preoccupied him.

In the end, does it matter what preoccupied him that day?

What if..... he had been a day-long meeting w.
Pres Obama, Pope Frances, Pres. Putin, members of the G-8, Mick Jagger, Stephen Hawking, Warren Buffet, and Bill Gates?
What if they as a group were working to achieve world peace, eliminate hunger, eradicate contagious diseases, cure cancer, etc. - in one day?

If a meeting like that preoccupied him that day and they tried to accomplish the above,
maybe some sleuthers would give RH a get-out-of-jail card. Maybe some sleuthers here would still convict. Ditto the jury.

Me? IDK.

jh removed his obviously dead child from the car and let someone else try to perform CPR.

jh was on the phone when LE arrived.

Anyone with a brain would have IMMEDIATELY spoken to LE
when their dead child had just been removed from the car.

why was that call so important jh?

JH's gig was up, his plan was messed up and he was in CYA mode.
