I think AJC got hold of another view of the home Depot parking lot via some other source. Baygents probably got it and gave it to them. The statement about the light bulbs and him being at eye level to the top of the car is different in terms of the specific details in Stoddard's account. The view that the AJC got is from the passenger side of his car I believe. Jmo

One thing.. Stoddard never said RH put his head in the car when he tossed the light bulbs in. He never said at what level RH's eye's were that I recall. jmo

He actually demonstrated IMO to the court that as he leaned down to the point where his head might get inside the frame of the car, RH turned his head to the left which meant his face and eyes were NOT viewing the interior of the car. So whether his head was below the frame or above the frame of the car makes no difference, his line of sight was not the interior of the car which I think was Stoddard's point in the testimony on that subject.

The subjective point of the "discrepancy" is that Stoddard interprets that head turning just as his head approached the frame of the car as making sure he could not see the son he knew was dead or dying in the car. While the defense wants to claim - see, his eyeline was above the car and so he probably would not have had a chance to see his dead or dying baby. Same point, very different interpretations.

I feel the 30 seconds in the parking lot after arriving that morning is the same. Stoddard said "around 30 seconds" which is an approximation and everyone hearing the word around before a number knows this to be what it is.

What Stoddard did not do was say "according to the time stamps RH pulled into his spot and parked at _ _ : _ _ and did not exit the car until _ _ : _ _, a full 30 seconds." See that would be embellishing (lying). That did not happen.

You're correct. I watched that part twice because I was trying to figure out which way RH turned his head

BM had been posting last week on one of the Cooper Harris community Facebook pages. In one of his comments, he said that RH's mother had sent him angry PM's saying he was a "disloyal friend to Ross" by giving the media interviews. She said that he should have just told the reporters, "No Comment".
BM responded back to her saying he spoke out because he was "standing up for Cooper."

frankly, BM's behaviors are concerning to me. While I do not doubt the veracity of his information and impressions of RH and LH, I do feel at this point he needs to get off FB and stop commenting. IMO it is now bordering on the 15 minute phenomenon and the sad situation that we see with almost every case nowadays. The man is inserting himself way too far into the case and making it about him. I see attention seeking.

Thanks NOW I get it! Turning his head to the left could well have been to avoid seeing what he "dreaded" but knew was there. JMO

Why in the world would the cemetary do that? I've never heard of that. Ridiculous

I happen to be seeing a cemetery groundskeeper. They routinely remove flowers and toys to tend to the grass. There is generally a sign in the cemetery saying items will be removed regularly. As for the stone, they take time to get.

Hard to not be the center of attention when he is apparently the only one helping to remember CH. Someone needs to speak for CH. Normally, it would be the parents.

How sad if he would be forgotten so soon.

So I say , "Thank you, " to him.

CH doesn't have a Desiree Young or a John Walsh or a Mark Klaas type parent to speak for him

That's what I get for presuming that LE would have gotten ALL relevant surveillance tapes from HD. I hope they did. JMO

What occurred to me is that AS HE GREW they would have been adjusting the straps (looser) to accommodate him. But when they put him in the larger seat, they adjusted the straps (of the old seat) back down to the tightest setting. That is where it was when he died.

Why would they have adjusted the rear facing seat back down to the lowest setting since they were going to have to use the rear facing seat in one of their cars? Didn't they only buy one larger forward facing car seat?

  • #1,755
Question: How would they know that the adjustment was the tightest one, I mean, know that independent of what Ross told them? It was Ross who undid it and placed him on the pavement. I know zero about child car seats, but I'm sure most posters are familiar with them. TY JMO

Precisely, why indeed. If it is lies prove it. I don't see Stoddard placing his future on the line. RH's brother....yes.

Good Morning American ABC's legal consultant said the AJC report would not have made any difference in the PCH.

Thank you so much for sharing this info. Very interesting that Good Morning America ABC legal analyst thought the AJC info would not have led the judge to do anything differently.

There are events in my area where parents can take their car seats in their vehicles to be examined by police and fire department employees to see if the seats are properly installed. Maybe they are trained in car seat info.

But the people who say RH did it intentionally say he went to the car at lunchtime to check and make sure Cooper was completely roasted, cooked, baked, broiled, bbq'd, etc...

Maybe HD had several security cameras with different angles in their parking lot. Maybe HD had more than one security tape and LE has all of them. In my opinion AJC's Sunday report was biased toward the RH family. If there is a trial, we will see.

Actually, he DID stop and wait. He did. Intentional? We don't know. But someone came by and RH stopped, poked at his phone, then moved on when the person passed the car. That's not exactly a discrepancy. And I'd remembered the detective saying RH WATCHED the guy but, watching back, he didn't say that. He just said RH stopped walking, started and stopped again.

Yes, you are right. BUT did you not get the impression that RH stopped and WAITED to see if the man was going to get too close to his car? That's the impression I got from it.
