I know this little guy He hangs out on my deck waiting for me to toss out stale bread or whole walnuts. I told him last week that he'd have to wait a little while longer until Nino's starts carrying whole nuts (in shells) for the holiday season. For now, there are plenty of acorns from the tall oaks behind our house

I know. I was so happy reading that I started to cry. We just don't have enough happiness lately. He is obviously a very special horse.

Yes, we need more stories like this! Not just a happy ending, but the people who worked so hard to save him. It sounds like they found him in the nick of time. He lost so much weight, poor fella. I hope he stays close to home from now on.
