Snatched penguin may be Christmas gift

This makes me want to cry. Poor little guy. What kind of a person would do this. :furious: Although things don't look good, I'm praying that he's still alive.

In a way, it reminds me of some koala bears that were stolen a while ago. Some high school guys, took them, as a gift for their girlfriends. When authorities found them, they (the koala bears) were sitting on the couch watching TV. :)

Ummmmmmmm i hate to be P/C T-Rex BUT in this i just have to be (being an aussie and all :) )

Koalas ARENT BEARS :D they aren't even related to bears :D
i know, i know  they look like one, everyone calls them one BUT there not.

They are a marsupial mammal and their closest relative is the wombat.

There's nothing worse than a koala being called a bear, it causes them an "identity crisis" and there's nothing worse than a freaked out Koala!!

So just koala OK no Bear :p

So sad about this penguin and so very cruel of whomever is responsible.

Missing penguin's parents courting again

NEWCHURCH, England, Dec. 28 (UPI) -- The parents of a missing 3-month-old penguin in a British zoo have stopped grieving and are courting again in preparation to replace him.

Toga, an 18-inch tall endangered jackass penguin was stolen from the Amazon World Zoo Park in Newchurch on the Isle of Wight 11 days ago, and for the first 10 days, his parents, Kyala and Oscar ate almost nothing, paced and brayed for the chick.

Did they ever find out what happened with Toga? It breaks my heart to think about the poor little guy.

Sadly, no. the piece of work who took him hasn't been brought to book. there is no doubt the poor little thing perished. there is also no doubt in my mind more than one other person knows who took Toga.

i hope they tell -- or forever hang their head with shame. along with the perp. :(

i hope his parents can look forward and enjoy the new addition to their family! :woohoo:
