Does Ashton have an agent, too? I've seen his face on the news shows. He didn't waste any time hightailing it to NY.

He's the only one that can speak because he has retired. The others aren't allowed to and if you watch his interviews you will see there are things he can't discuss anyway. He's not getting paid for the interviews. These shows can only do licensing fees for pics and videos. This is the third case Beth Karas has covered on him so I think that's why he said ok to her. All the others are legitimate, upstanding programs.

I believe the real message JA wanted to get out is to do something to honor Caylee and try and dissuade vigilates. It's already been well documented that JA loves the law and believes in what he does. Considering the reaction the public had to the verdict I commend him for taking the time to try and calm people down and divert any more trouble from this train wreck.

Which liar do you believe? I don't care what they do, their lives will not be what they are expecting. I hope that Baez and Casey get together, I hope they get married. They deserve each other!! I'm sure his wife is already gone, I have not seen him wear a wedding band in quite some time. I can only hope that she gets a good portion of whatever he earns, because it will be very short term. He'll be generous as I am sure he thinks good times are ahead. Good times will be very brief for Baez and Casey, Cindy will get slapped in the face all over again, everything will happen as it should. And we can sit back and watch, take comfort in that!!

I don't think Casey's will be. This country is not going to take well to anything Casey Anthony. I think the public outrage will limit her opportunities. Hard to believe it now, but, eventually people will lose interest. I'm not saying she won't make enough money to live comfortably on. I just don't believe she will ever have a big mansion in Beverly Hills. IMO

Forgive me if this has previously been asked and answered - but is JB married?? I find his displays of affection with his client disturbing. I predict he will be in legal trouble in the future and enjoyed LKB's comparison of him with F Lee Bailey.

He has a two-month old child, and an older child. I posted an article about him that said he was a deadbeat dad, previously a bikini salesman, and a liar concerning his education.

Ashton waited until after the trial, he's retired now and is entitled to whatever he chooses to do.

I laughed when CM railed against the media, given that Baez has been a camera hog since Casey first retained him, even doing at least one Dateline show. :sick:

I agree with this. Casey is toxic to anyone at this point. There will be no mansions in her future. A simple trip to grocery store will be unbearable for her. While she will have her "fans" they will be few and far between.

There was another Jose (Garcia) in his group, whose wife was expecting a baby at the time that ICA wrote her letters to Robyn Adams - she confessed to her that she had a major crush on him ( he stopped visiting her at that point) but JB has one daughter who is in her twenties..

There cAn be arguments all day long over it.. Jose has had a hard hitting agent.. And you better believe he is in the works of getting his about to be free sidekick, Casey in with him.. Without her he really goes no where.. It is a package deal and anyone that believes Jose Baez is going to admit that, he isn't.. and hey, technically Casey has not signed as she is still incarcerated.. It's semantics and it's bs..

No doubt about it will soon come out that infact the traveling circus act duo will have been signed..

I watched Jose agent interviewed last night.. Obviously before this info about Casey being signed..

That agent made a strange comment that at that time didn't make sense. No in looking back it does..

She was asked about something about Casey's personality or something similar and what she would say..

She preempted her statement with, a reminder of, "Remember at that time I was only representing Jose."

as I said at that time when I heard it last evening I couldn't exactly make sense of it but it was something that stood out to me..

Today it seems to make alot of sense..

It's not true... HLN's JVM got a statement from Baez who said it is completely untrue.
