SoCal fires continue thread 2

Is any of this fire spreading into Mexico? I would think they are experiencing the same conditions. Haven't heard anything about that.God forbid it spread into Tijuana,with some of those structures,seems to me it would ignite the whole city in seconds.
National news is all over the story now. Its about time.

OT- Isn't Yucaipa in northern Los Angeles? If so, my former in-laws had an aunt and uncle who lived there. I don't remember it as being a very nice place to live.

Yucaipa is lovely! It is at the base of the SB mountain in San Berdo county.If you know the back way up to the moutain resorts(38) it is over there way out east on the 10.

That's where 2 of my boys USED to live. Did your coworker get ripped off by the owners of the apts too? They promised my kids 28 days in a hotel and then pulled the rug after about 10.

They pro-rated her rent and gave her 3 days. She's jsut a young girl (19) and she gave her notice here because she can't afford to find another place. She's going back to Oregon to live with her parents.

Yucaipa is in the hills far east of L.A., on the way to Palm Springs. I only know it from the freeway, but it looks nice enough. (And I LOVE the name.)

They were talking about the fire spreading into Mexico this morning, but it's further east. God forbid, it heads for Tijuana.

Oh, please. Most of our drivers are so old, they couldn't post here if somebody guided their hands! They're deadly, alright, but not because they're distracted by modern gadgets. Unless you call a brake pedal "modern."

yeah my kids are young too. She got ripped off. My son is putting a lawsuit together. If it gets off the ground I'l let you know and you can let her know.
