Sony Hacking Scandal

  • #61
I don't know about tacit involvement by CIA and white house but I feel pretty strongly that this movie is likely a 🤬🤬🤬. I also feel pretty strongly that Sony knew it had a stinker on its hands. So I do find it mighty darn convenient that they were hacked and threatened and now suddenlyn, many have decided it's their civic duty to see this movie in order to tell those horrible N. Koreans that they can't tell us what to do over here in 'Merica.

Call me a cynic or a unAmerican, but I was not going to see this film before and I surely won't be seeing it now.

I don't believe Sony hacked itself. My issue is with the person who thought it was a good idea to blow $$44 MILLION on making a James Franco and Seth Rogen film. I can't stand James Franco.

K-Pop star to sue Sony over breach of copyright in The Interview

It's the unwanted Christmas gift that keeps on giving.

As if facing lawsuits from staff affected by the hacking scandal sparked by its controversial film The Interview wasn't bad enough, now Sony Pictures Entertainment is being sued by a Korean pop singer - for copyright infringement.

The American-born hip-hop artist, known as Yoon Mi-rae, alleges her label Feel Ghood Musik was in discussion with Sony to use her 2007 single Pay Day in the film, but its use was never cleared.

THE United States has imposed new sanctions on North Korea in retaliation for a cyber attack on Hollywood studio Sony Pictures.

President Barack Obama authorised the US Treasury to place on its blacklist three top North Korean intelligence and arms operations, as well as 10 government officials, most of them involved in Pyongyang’s arms exports.

OK so I guess they're pretty sure then?
