VZ: Mr. Dewani will tell the court that he withdrew 7000 Pounds in cash. That was his "holiday money".

VZ: He changed some at OR Tambo and @VandAWaterfront . He will say he doesn't know where the Dollars come from.

Tongo: I mentioned yesterday he told me his name, but I didn't keep it. I found out afterwards, as time went on.

When he called the other driver to see if he could pick up the couple (SD & wife) he did tell him ""remember the couple'' from the airport the other night? during the conversation --- I think VZ is just twisting this into a crazy straw to confuse him JMHO

So why has he introduced the fact that he did not know that the second woman was Dewani's wife and wants to call her his business partner?

What is the motive?

Dewani could have had dollars left over from the trip to India or Tongo has mistaken pounds for dollars. I often do that when travelling from one country to the next eg. I call the notes dollars but I should say eruos, etc.

excellent.....that's exactly what I was getting at!!!

it must be a long flight from UK to South Africa especially if you have SD as your travel companion -- she could have looked tired and possibly even older LOL after her arrival at the airport

AND

most importantly she may have '''crimped'''' her hair or had it in an updo .... lots of ways a fashionable young lady could have looked completely different MOO

we know he's cheap......but he's also crafty - he didn't want any paper trail for the exchange linking him to the ''deed'' -- someone might ask him ((like right now during a trial)) what did you use the money for or why did you need the $$

passport would need to be presented at a legit exchange and paper forms completed by clerk for the transaction at the bank etc but not at the ''corner store''....
