Initially a screenshot of a person using an ATM was distributed to police and media.

It was later established that the person in the photo did not withdraw money from Panayiotou's account.
The suspicious transaction had taken place at a different ATM, but the person could not be identified because the footage was of a poor quality.

Court is in session. Botha continues: at 07:25:09 & 07:26:06, unsuccessful attempts were made to withdraw cash from Jayde's account

At 07:26:58, R1500 was withdrawn

A further R1500 was withdrawn from the ABSA ATM at 08:20:23 & a further R500 at 08:21:45

Further attempts to withdraw money were unsuccessful

The ignition was eventually switched off at KFC Nkohli Square at 12:14:03, where the state alleges the rest of the cash was given to SV

Attempts to withdraw cash from Jayde's account continues until 12:55:17

Between 11:00 & 13:53, CP's handset is activated in KwaNobuhle

At 22:22:59, SV communicates with LS. CP's handset returns to the tower near his home at 21:10

At 23:23, CP's phone shows he went to his work at OK. The alarm at OK & Infinity next door is deactivated (allegedly when he fetched money)

CP reportedly left his place of employment about 10 min later

At 23:49:50 LS calls SV for 50 sec. at 23:50 he receives a call from CP, lasting 39 sec

At 01:00:51, the vehicle's ignition is switched on outside SV's house & travels past the residence of LS

At 02:18:43, the vehicle travels to KFC in Njoli Str, where the hit money was allegedly handed over

At 23:45, CP receives a call from the number associated with Phillip Vosloo (Donovan Vosloo's dad)

At 23:50, CP phoned LS

A local IT technician (Donovan Vosloo) and close friend of CP is believed to be the person responsible for wiping both Panayiotou’s and his mistress Chanelle Coutts’ phone shortly after the murder of his wife, but he denies any wrongdoing.

At 02:27, the vehicle returns to SV's residence in Mxenge Str

The vehicle is only used again that afternoon. SV makes a further deposit to Zema at 15:10

A map of the various calls made is brought up on the screen

MS has no further questions.

TP cross-examines. Asks Botha if she is a court witness. She responds that she is a witness called by the state

TP: "That is your first mistake. Your job is to be objective." Botha: "I have tried to be as objective & fair as possible"

"Yes, I looked at the data. On 8 Apr his handset travelled to Uitenhage with CP's handset"

He says this is incorrect (he was *stolen for stealing) & she would have known this if took trouble to read record

TP now accuses Botha of having a poor memory

TP questions Botha for insinuating CP spent time at CC's house. Says CP often used a rd close to her house as a shortcut. Nothing sinister

He now questions where she says CC's phone "spent the night" in vicinity of Jayde's house when she was away. He says this is a broad area

Were you able to establish that at times CP could not have possibly used Mawonga's phone? Only time possible is when phone went to Uitenhage

Was a suggestion made to you that something (suspicious) for CP to use Mawonga's phone?

We go back to the alleged communication between CC & Trompie. Did you ever attempt to find out when the phone of Trompie was Rica'd?

TP says they phoned the number during the break & it now belongs to a woman named Angie

TP says the calls CC never spoke to Trompie, every call went to an automated voicemail

TP says The Herald's headline reads that CC communicated extensively with Trompie & this is incorrect.
