LEBOWAKGOMO - Police have launched a search operation for a missing child, Kagiso Lesufi, aged 6, from Lebowakgomo unit S phase 03.

He was last seen by his grandmother on Tuesday, 20 June 2023, at about 08:00 at his home playing with the neighbour's children.

Later during the day, the grandmother saw the neighbour's children however, her grandson was nowhere to be found. When she asked them about the whereabouts of Kagiso, they said they have not seem him.

A search was conducted at relatives and places he frequently visited without success.

At the time of his disappearance, Kagiso was wearing a short blue and grey jean, blue vest and grey top jersey.

Anyone with information about the missing child may contact Investigating Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Nyamanyayo Thomas Baloyi on, 082 565 8234 or nearest Police Station, or the SAPS Crime Stop number on 08600 10111, or submit information through the MySAPS App.

Police investigation continuing.



This is odd. How old are the other children? Where could Kagiso be? I really hope that he's safe.

Lebowakgomo has a population of about 35 000 people.

PUBLIC ASSISTANCE REQUESTED TO LOCATE A MISSING BOY.

Police in Lebowakgomo are launching search operation for a missing African male by the name of Kagiso Lesufi aged =06(six)years of Lebowakgomo unit S phase 03.Last seen by his granny on 2023/06/20 at about 08:00 while at home having tea together. After drinking tea, he requested his granny that he may go to play with neighbour's children as they are not going to school. The granny granted permission to go and play.

Later during the day, the granny saw neighbour's children but grandson not yet back home.She asked them of whereabouts of Kagiso?They said they saw him at another house at the same street. The granny went to check but not found. Search conducted from relatives and places he frequently visited but no success.

Victim was wearing short blue/Grey jean,blue vest and Grey top jersey.

This is scary. What time was it when Kagiso's grandma saw the neighbor's children without him? According to them, he went to another house at the same street. Who lives at the house? What did they say? It's been 3 days and Kagiso's only 6 years old...

Does anyone know how they are with cameras in this area of South Africa? Like do they have doorbell cameras like in the US and some other countries, or not really?
