He also didn't give an exact height for the attacker, only said that the person was taller than him, Botha says.
Henri apparently saw the spelling and language errors but didn't take it further as he wanted to leave as quickly as possible. Malan says he went through the statement on screen, it was printed and Henri signed.
Court adjourns, with Andre du Toit - Henri's uncle - to testify in the morning.

Adv Botha denies his client gave specific times or height of attacker. Malan maintains what Henri #VanBreda said is compiled in statement.
Adv Botha says mention of second suspect was omitted from statement. Sgt Malan insists Henri #VanBreda mentioned only 1 intruder.
Andre du Toit - Henri #VanBreda's uncle - will be final witness in trial-within-a-trial, expected to testify tomorrow morning. Adjourned.

Hi guys Ive jut joined from SA. I follow van breda case. I'm still going over it to date but just a question or something GALLOWAY for the state should have taken this further ........ the axe had NO prints on ............ and Henri was the last person to touch it - he apparently threw it at attacker .... then its only HE that could have wiped it off - or had gloves...........
