You couldn't make it up.

I hereby solemnly swear that if this DNA expert is to testify in any future trials, I will not listen to her EiC or XX. That's the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

Things are going at a snail's pace at Rohde. I think they must be having morning tea as there's been nothing new for 30 mins.

Thank you, Prime! And savories! Worth waiting up for after the torture endured over the past hour!!

And to think she might be there for another 4 days? No words.

She's going to have such a reputation after this trial that the judges might have to draw straws to decide who has to put up with her next.

When Olckers complained that one woman on the scene during evidence collection had not been in protective shoes‚ which was against standard operating procedures‚ Desai asked her: “To what extent would that compromise the results?”

I suspect that Olckers will tell us today that the earth is flat and the DNA samples have been contaminated by dust particles falling from space. Galloway will inform her that the earth is in fact round as we have seen images from space satellites. Olckers will say that you can’t believe those images as SOPS weren’t followed inside the space capsule and that the astronauts brought in contaminated material when they walked in space and didn't change into protective shoe coverings. These particles fell to earth and found their way into the forensic laboratory. She’s read scientific journals which prove that planet earth is definitely flat and that the alleles from space don’t have high enough peaks … or words to that effect.

JJ,
Just wonderful, love it!!!
This certainly would be similar to Olcker's lengthy, detailed reasoning to such a question.

Did your initial report change? Olckers says not all aspects was in final report. Only changes is when quoting Otto's testimony

Unexplained peaks: Any peak reported is of relevance, must be explained in final report, Olckers says.

Adv Combrink asks the witness about the unexplained foreign peak. She says it's worthy of relevance due to its forensic nature

She can't exclude cross contamination as she has no data to base this on, Olckers says.

Possible contamination could have occurred or be explained. Olckers says court asked her to constrain to definitive contamination.

Two samples in batch 1188 - shorts stains 69 and 75. Followed on worklist. Profile mixture of Henri and Rudi on 69, 75 only Rudi.

Olckers: At 69, Otto didn't look at quantitative, just qualitative data.At 71, Henri not read, can't exclude him in low-level mix.

So can't say if there was contamination, or very low-level contamination, Olckers explains.

Olckers cannot rule out cross-contamination in samples analysed due to insufficient data

Olckers explaining possibility of cross-contamination. "It's very difficult to say that there was no low-level contamination"
