Galloway asks why he doesn't have original recording. Pietersen recorded it as a back-up. Original footage handed over to successor.

There are no cameras inside the estate, only perimeter, Pietersen says.

Most incidents recorded are for theft or misplaced items where owner realised later it was missing, Galloway says.

There has to be a sign if you say someone gained access to estate, Galloway says. Pietersen says he noted where it was possible.

After he left, Pietersen says people told him about incidents at De Zalze.

Assessor asks Pietersen how many burglaries recorded during his tenure. None, he says, only attempts.

Two witnesses being considered, Adv Botha says. Asks for postponement until Monday. Desai allows

Judge's assistant asks Pietersen how many of the 190 incidents during his tenure was he aware of. "I wasn't very involved..."

How many break-ins were there that weren't picked up by the automatic systems? Pietersen: None, as far as I'm aware.

Court adjourned to the 30th. Defense seem to be in no hurry. 2 more witnesses will be called. Botha says his birthday coming up.

I'm just so fed up! No one would believe it's a murder trial, you'd think it's about something trivial, like a stolen bike!

It is scraping the barrel IB! Desai is letting the defence get away with having irrelevant witnesses, he's definitely trying to keep them happy.
It's like having a history lesson about the fence and security of days gone by but nothing even close to the date of the murders, and might I add, the security and alarms were upgraded after this Pieterson worked there! Is this normal in other countries or OISA?!

:happydance:china im a scorpio and my hubby says the same about me. I can not believe how this is dragging on. Todays witnesses were a waste of time in my opinion, what was the point. I really think this judge needs an award, he has been amazing through out this trial. Thanks everyone for all the updates, tweets and links they are very much appreciated.

It's the same where I live, the road is very narrow and I can hear the neighbours across the street when they argue (well, basically the husband, lol)
