Hello - I am creating a very small team of individuals who would like to investigate a 30 year old cold case in South Dakota. I would like a small team who will analytically assess the case and strategically identify the path forward. The path forward may involve trying to obtain a confession. The path forward may also involved obtain subject matter experts from from the legal community as well as other disciplines. I am in direct contact with the family of the victim. Please let me know if you are interested.

Adding additional detail:

I am assembling a team of investigators to uncover the truth behind the disappearance and death of 19-year-old Tammy Haas, whose body was found near Crofton, Nebraska, in November 1991. I am particularly seeking individuals with expertise in law, criminology, psychology, criminal investigation, investigative journalism, and forensics to support this case.

For years, I have been researching Tammy’s case and have been in direct contact with her mother, Nancy Haas, whose sole objective is to find the truth about her daughter's death.

If you have a background in any of the fields mentioned or share a passion for justice, I urge you to reach out and contribute to this important investigation. Below is a summary of the case:

Case Overview

  • Tammy Haas was last seen with her boyfriend after attending a high school homecoming party near Crofton, Nebraska, in November 1991.
  • Five days later, on November [XX], 1991, her body was discovered in a ravine approximately two miles from the party location.
  • The primary suspect was her boyfriend, Eric Stukel, who was brought to trial three years later and acquitted of manslaughter due to inconclusive evidence regarding the cause of death.
  • No other suspects have been identified or prosecuted.
  • The case remains open, and the FBI offered a reward for information three years ago.
  • Tammy was a resident of Yankton, South Dakota, which may have legal implications given that her body was found in Nebraska.
  • A recent podcast, Footsteps in the Dark by Chad Zimmerman, dedicated eight episodes to this case.
  • The case remains under the jurisdiction of the Yankton, South Dakota Police Department.

Public Perception & Key Observations

  • Many believe Eric Stukel was responsible, but the prosecution was unable to determine the exact circumstances of Tammy’s death, leading to his acquittal.
  • Stukel's behavior during and after the investigation has raised significant concerns, particularly regarding the disposal of Tammy’s body and his knowledge of her death.

Nancy Haas continues to seek answers, and I am determined to support her in this pursuit. If you are interested in contributing your skills, insights, or resources to this case, please contact me at your earliest convenience.

Thank you for your time and consideration

Hello.
Even though I am new to this webside, I have a background in psychology, and specifficly studied the behaviours of criminal individuals. I would love to help, and I won't stop until the answer is found. Please let me know if I can help with anything

don't have time to help, but my family is from Yankton, id be shocked if it was anyone but Erik. I don't know anyone who thinks it was anyone other than him either. Interested to see how this turns out.
