Search for Scots dad missing while on holiday in Ibiza

Johny Doherty from Rutherglen, South Lanarkshire. Missing in Ibiza, last seen Monday 3rd June. Has no phone or money with him. Family and friends say it’s extremely extremely out of character & they are becoming increasing worried.

Body found in search for Scots dad Johny Doherty who vanished in Ibiza


MISSING Scots dad Johny Doherty has been found dead days after vanishing in Ibiza.

His body was recovered by police divers this morning after a local spotted it floating in the sea off cliffs near Cap Martinet.

An autopsy will now take place to try to determine the cause of death.


Investigators said there was nothing at this stage pointing to it being suspicious but it would be up to the forensic experts to determine.

It had been feared he may have fallen from cliffs near the villa he was staying in.
