Gosh can't believe it's been 2 years! The missing persons case of Levi Davis, the former X Factor contestant and rugby star, remains unsolved two years after his disappearance in Spain. The court investigation into his mysterious disappearance hit a standstill last year, despite a search involving police divers in Barcelona's port, prompted by fears that Levi was the man seen struggling in the water by a passenger cruise liner crew.
Court officials confirmed today that their investigation is still on hold and will only resume if new information emerges. Police stated they have no plans to use the anniversary of the former Bath rugby player's disappearance as an opportunity to make a public appeal for information, as they have "nothing new to offer."

Regarding updates on the case, a spokesperson for the investigating magistrate stated: "There are no updates in this case. It's still provisionally archived."
Moreover, the Mossos d'Esquadra, the Catalan police force where Levi's disappearance was reported, commented: "Our investigation remains open but we have nothing new we can tell you about."
They also confirmed that there are no current plans for a public appeal coinciding with the second anniversary of Levi's disappearance.

Me neither, so sad his family can't get closure.Gosh can't believe it's been 2 years!
I think Jay Slater was the perfect storm and that's why it got so much attention. Levi's case is a bit strange too, I keep following this case because I was in Barcelona and in the area he went missing from around the time he went missing.I have only today heard about Levi as there was an article on sky news! Strange how Jay Slater and the likes get so much coverage and Levi barely any.

X Factor Star Levi Davis, Blackmail, and the TV Boss
Updated last part of our five part special investigation into the disappearance of the Rugby star Levis Davisbylinetimes.com
I think it's a matter of perception. My perception is that, at least in the beginning, there was a lot of media attention around the case. I think the Spanish police's general believe is that he drowned and his body never found. Respectfully, in terms of media coverage, maybe less interesting. I'm totally not sure what happened to Levi and the conclusion is very -how should I put this- dissatisfying. It's a strange case all together. For his dear mom I hope one day there will be answers. The not-knowing is devastating.I have only today heard about Levi as there was an article on sky news! Strange how Jay Slater and the likes get so much coverage and Levi barely any.
