Saw some graphic aftermath videos on Twitter. Horrifying. Saw a baby/toddler. Saw empty strollers. I am sickened. I fear how the death toll will be higher than 13 and at least a few will be children.

One of my adult children's friends was on Las Ramblas when this occurred

She said she was caught in 2 stampedes

She is holed up in a pharmacy with others, but is ok

Im hearing reports on TV of shots fired so i think some action is still taking place. Trying to confirm the reports now.

This is similar to what I just heard on TV about shots being fired. I think they were referring to this incident.

This is quite a common tactic during these attacks - they do the first attack and then let the emergency services arrive. Then they do another attack somewhere different, or attack the emergency services who are trying to help the victims.
