Maybe he told them where to find her?

I just hate that the children are probably scared out of their minds ... the longer this drags on the worse it'll be for them.

At ages 2 and 4...I doubt they are scared out of their minds...however, I would think they were missing their mother and confused about all the fuss surrounding them right now. The children should be away from the situation and with be trusted relatives or in a safe place. I blame LE for not having taken care of them ahead of time (having relatives take them when they came to search).

Don't forget the older children, she's supposedly adopted them and they've already lost their mother.

I would bet the older children have lots of stories to tell and I hope they get a chance to do so. When this much is going on in a family there are scars that won't heal. No matter how much they love their dad they know something is amiss.

Dive team called to airport pond

"November 1, 2007 (BOLINGBROOK, Ill.) - Officials are searching a retention pond in connection to the disappearance of Bolingbrook woman.

The Naperville Police Department dive team is searching the pond located near Clow International Airport in Bolingbrook. They are reportedly on the south end of the water near the runway.

The airport is just a few blocks from the home of Stacy Ann Peterson, 23, who disappeared Sunday. She is the wife of Bolingbrook Police Sergeant Drew Peterson, 53. Earlier in the day, officials from the Illinois State Police served a search warrant at their home.

Authorities have not said what they were looking for or what they found. Two vehicles near the home were seized by police and were towed from the property. It is not clear to whom they belong."

Oh, Yes! I am sorry as it did slip my mind about the older kids. All the more reason LE should have planned ahead to have them removed from the scene during the search!

Gosh, do these men EVER think about anyone, but themselves?! After watching the older children go through the pain and sorrow of losing their mother...how COULD he do this to the babies AND the other two yet again?! It just makes me so angry and so very sad.

Exactly! Their mom's life was worth $1M, I wonder how much their adopted mom's life was worth?

Well, that explains all the new toys in the yard. How incredibly sad for her parents. Losing their daughter and seeing the SOB enjoying the money after her demise.

I was sitting her wondering why in the heck didn't she change the policy after the divorce was finalized when it struck me ... she may not have even known/realized that there was a policy.

...I disagree about him not going easily. I think maybe they are working on a confession or a deal with him. Perhaps the neighbor has more information which would tip the scales away from his favor this time with this wife.
I hope that you are right, but I somehow doubt it. Unless someone saw something, I just do not think that he will jeopardize his freedom until they really can make something stick.

This guy probably changed the message on his answering machine to cover the max time allowed. Then, he probably used her cell phone to call home and just let the answering machine run. Then, he hung up. This would record as a call on her phone. IMO, that's the reason to say that she was acting snotty. IOW, she didn't stay on the line very long, just long enough to tell him that she was leaving him.

I think that he has all of his bases covered. I surely hope that I am wrong.

We returned to Sgt Peterson’s home only to gave the State Police show up to execute a search warrant. We are still outside the house - the search is going on. We went inside the neighbor’s house and we were speaking to Stacy’s sister when suddenly my producer got my attention….standing in the living room listening to me talk to Stacy was Sgt Peterson Stacy was rattled because she was saying very unflattering things about Sgt Peterson. More to come…

I hope that this turns out to be this guy's worst nightmare. He commented last night that he didn't know what the big deal was and lamented that the media would not have picked up this story if it had been about a woman who was fat and ugly. Interesting comments for a man whose wife just left him...

I think that Mark Fuhrman will be on Greta tonight. I really like Mark Fuhrman. He's a very good looking guy, IMO. :blushing:

geez .. I missed those quotes. If his wife really was *missing* he'd be thrilled for the media attention. But then again he's claiming she where she wants to be.

btw, I heard that Lacy was caught on tape crying out for her mother during the search. freakin' heartbreaking

This guy refused to be filmed on camera last night. It was either his friend who relayed this information or Greta or the reporter that Greta interviewed. I can't remember who said that Peterson said this comment, but one of them did.

I am hoping that this will turn out to be yet another "Peterson" curse. Let's see...Scott Peterson GUILTY...Michael Peterson GUILTY ...Drew Peterson... :waitasec:
