Does anyone think that Bruce might have helped her disappear? If Sarge was jealous of him (which I find VERY likely), could Sarge have done something to implicate Bruce to force him to help? Something just doesn't set right with me about Bruce after watching the interview.

I don't know. Possible I guess. But I think it is more likely that if anyone helped it was more likely to be the good friend or the girlfriend (if he has one)- or maybe (less likely) the oldest son.

But something tells me he did this alone.

Actually you would be suprised at how often that happens- not just there, but all over the US and not just with police officer/husbands. The victim backs down, cops are able to smooth things over, or one of the parties leaves the scene and promises not to come back that night and cops just shrug it off. Though I am sure it didn't help that Drew was a police officer- that gave the cops more reasons not to write it up.

This is personal experience, not related to the case, but I know that it happens. It's true, it happened to me 3 times. I don't need to give details, but police don't just "take the woman's word" for it. Twice, I didn't have any marks. When he finally threw me out of a door (that had no steps out) and broke my wrist, he was arrested. The two prior reports came in at trial, and in closing statements the prosecutor blasted the police and told the jury I was lucky to be alive (which is true).

And once after that, with a separate person, I had been very post partum depressed, and he showed the police my medication for post partum. He was not arrested, and they took his word that I was "crazy".... I didn't report anything after that. What would be the point?

Something just doesn't set right with me about Bruce after watching the interview. Maybe it was Bruce saying what a good guy he was and all of that. I noticed Bruce is the only person talking about her still being found alive...which to me is curious when her family feels so certain it is not the case.

Stacey had made definite plans to see Bruce to paint. How do we know she didn't actually go to that house and whatever took place...happened there? Bruce could have been a witness and Sarge could have threatened him in order to insure his silence.

I noticed that and posted about how uncomfortable he looked saying that she was "maybe kidnapped or something".... He definetely looked like he didn't believe what his own lips were saying.

It wasn't just you MsShelia. It happens a lot. And BF's trying to say you were crazy is common too. (Drew kinda hinted at that on Stacy) But a lot of women are like you and quit calling and reporting. The best thing is to get out of the relationship (I hope you did), but if not then they need to keep reporting. Eventually police may finally do something. Or the person can try calling the prosecutor directly and talking to them about what happened and why nothing was done.

I just mapquested the distance from Blue Island IL to Bolingbrook IL. It's only 26 miles from one to the other. Blue Island is where the mother went missing from. If Stacey knew Drew at that time, the disappearance of her mother is a whole other ball game now. IMO!~

I'm originally from Chicago (born and raised on the South Side) and now live about 2 miles from Bolingbrook. Chicago is surrounded with a patchwork of suburbs. Blue Island is on the southern border of Chicago.

Bolingbrook is more out in the "boonies", closer to Joliet. Since Bolingbrook is on the I-55 corridor, there are a lot of truck stops there and there are some unsavory neighborhoods there, but they've been creating lots of new shopping centers in an effort to boost the economy and the city and it seems to be working. Most of the homes there are reasonably priced and newer. It's a relatively large city, as well. It's bordered by a few suburbs, namely Naperville, Romeoville, Lockport, Woodridge, and some unincorporated areas. It's in Will County.

I highly doubt Stacey knew Drew while living in Blue Island. It is said that when Stacey was 17, she was working at a motel in Bolingbrook at the time she met Peterson. I bet she moved in with family in Bolingbrook shortly after her mother went missing.

I wonder what Peterson was doing at a motel when he was still married to his 3rd wife....... Maybe he was a guest there with another mistress....... You know what they say... "once a cheater, always a cheater."

Do you need a passport for Jamaica?
I think it would be interesting to find out if she ever had a passport issued. Unless she had previously traveled out of the country, it is very unlikely that she had a passport. If she hasn't traveled before and she planned this 'disappearance', she would've kept Drew from knowing she got a passport.

Guess I'm saying is I don't believe she even had a passport.

Fox News reporting that on Sunday Drew had a friend come to the house and help him move a big plastic container.
