english, I wondered the same thing myself. It scares me to think "like father, like son", especially because he was supposedly given the older kids to take care of during this!

While researching info on the first 2 wives, I came across a person that was listed as a 'possible relative' of Drew Peterson. It was a female with a different surname. (not sure if I can post it here so I won't). Could be a sister, or one of the exes.

I googled the last name and found the family owns a cement/asphalt company and have been involved in lawsuits with IL govt for illegal dumping.

I saw on one of the blogs that someoned suggested they stop searching the ponds and start looking in the rock quarries. Hmmm....

While we are waiting on news. Why would Drew say that Stacey left her car at the airport? It's not like you can catch a commercial flight out of there right? I think he said airport to explain to her sis why the car wasn't there and then thought better of it and changed his story.

You are on to something here. I don't think he expected the sister to be involved right away and he was probably hoping she wouldn't report her missing. That she would just except his story about her running of with another man.

That might explain why he needed to say Stacy took a bikini. I weigh lighter without any shoes, pants, etc. etc. on than I do in just a bikini. That would help in a "free fall" from a plane.

Certainly DP didn't expect the sister to drive by and notice no cars at home!!

Once that information came out, he had to change it all again to fit the scenario. His lies will catch up with him with an arrest!

Yes there is a big one about 2 miles from his house. They are mined everyday & lots of trucks in & out all day long. I don't know that you can access them at nite, I think gates are locked.

I know Tim's biggest lesson was to not disclose search sites. Because he had one murderer move a body and place it in a place they already searched. Tim seems to be very methodical and yet doesn't operate the same on every search.

Stop and think about what we know about missing people and LE

Stacy was an adult
Stacy was young, married to an older man
Drew alleged mental 'disorders'
Drew alleged another man
There is no info as yet that they have found blood or signs of a struggle

What is the usual police response? Remember Drew saying "she's just missing"? Police response for a missing adult (and older teens) is usually that they have the right to leave and don't have to tell anybody. I think Drew was shocked that there was so much attention being given.

But according to some articles I posted yesterday, Chicago has a big problem with missing persons and the news has been putting a lot of pressure on LE recently. With him being a LE, with his history, and with the pressure- LE knew they couldn't brush this one off.
