You are on to something here. I don't think he expected the sister to be involved right away and he was probably hoping she wouldn't report her missing. That she would just except his story about her running of with another man.

Hee hee, just as Scott Peterson didn't expect his story to be on National News & be the huge story it was. They never learn! He has tripped himself up with his stories already, probably why he took off! You tell one lie & you have to tell 3 more to cover it!!!

That might explain why he needed to say Stacy took a bikini. I weigh lighter without any shoes, pants, etc. etc. on than I do in just a bikini. That would help in a "free fall" from a plane.

The 2 seat trike type of "plane" is what he has, IMO it would be very difficult to release someone while flying it and having the body go where you want or not crashing.

I don't know if the current pic that's being posted with the news story about a clue being found is a pic of the 'clue' they are referring to, but it looks like they are holding up a lid on a rusty man hole in with what appears to be a pile of rocks behind it.

I think that is just a general picture from the search today, what I thought I heard them say on TV was that it was an area that looked like a body may have been there. I was rushing in from running an errand & that is what I think I heard.

They never do learn and that is what is so mind boggling. You would think they would say, "well that guy didn't get away with it so I better not try it". Althogh I think DP was overly confident because he is a cop. Also nobody ever questioned the 3rd wifes drowning in a bathtub, until now.:loser: :loser: :loser:

She's petite. He could have did a copycat of a murder I read about.
There was a doctor (his name escapes me) that is believed to have put his wife in a duffle bag and dumped her from his small plane. I don't think they ever found her body but he was convicted of murder many years later based on circumstantial evidence. They did however, find body parts of someone else.

He was another husband that alleged the wife ran off with another man so he didn't bother to look for her. The guilty ones always try to disgrace their wife's character.

The Dr. in this case, got himself busted because he changed his flight date on the mandatory log.

thanks for the pic on the plane. Your right, it does look like there would be no way for DP to be able to do those two things at the same time from the air. But he could land it, and then put the body somewhere.

Are we sure that he did not have access to any other planes at the airport? What if he had a friend and could use his/or her plane which had more room?? Or as another WS mentioned, an accomplice?

I'm just really worried that he has the children b/c I'm not sure of his state of mind, especially since they are also re-investigating the death of his 3rd wife, and I think that we all think he had something to do with that, too. It's possible that he could be charged with not one murder, but two. It has crossed my mind that if he is cornered, he might kill himself and possibly hurt those children, too.

that's another thing. The airport being so small, here where I live with a local "small" airport, my friend does not need to file a "flight plan" when leaving the airport.

Hence, no record of DP taking off.........how convient. (If that's the same way it is at Clow airport)
