Does anyone see DP confessing? IMO he will maintain his stories until Stacey is found, then will continue his denials. I'm beginning to question if she WILL be found. How many hours did he have to hide her? Then, of course, he was a cop longer than Bobby Cutts and may know more about hiding a body.

Did you see the post I made of Ric Mims comment about the cars? They were there until 1:30pm. And IIRC, they weren't back untill the wee hours the next day.

I don't thinkhe will ever admit to anything even if he is charged.

Rumor Warning
Golfmom, still a rumor at this point but Greta is supposedly chasing down that the person who actually did Kathleen's autopsy is a cop himself in a small Illinois town and was fired for stalking his girlfriend.

---------------

The Doctor that I googled was BRYAN MITCHELL MD it looks like in 04 he was under contract in KANE county.

Office location in BERWYN :truce:

Oh, that's bad. She could be practically anywhere within a six-hour or so drive.

He said bikini, some clothes, 25k cash from the safe, and the deed to he house....

I wonder if LE found this "safe" or the deed in one of their many searches. That would put the icing on the cake that he is a LIAR.

That's right Dee I forgot about the deed to the house.:loser:

That is upsetting news, I hope she is not that far away.

(snip)

2. Starting about 3am this morning we had one hell of a storm. I have not checked weather there but usually our storms start out in Ill. I almost had to go to the tonado spot in my house, it was that bad.

(snip)

No bad storms here in the Bolingbrook area. Just a thunderstorm overnight. My 6yo daughter is the one that actually heard it. I slept through it like a baby.

At the moment, it is overcast and 44 degrees. They're forecasting a high of 53 and 30% chance of PM drizzle.

Steadfast, Isnt that the truth!

Golfmom, thanks for the link. I've been very interested in corruption in Chicago since Gov Ryan released all the DP cases. I can now understand that in light of all I'm hearing about the States Attorneys, PD and Coroner processes there. Unfortunately for Ryan, he had his own demons as well.

SuziQ, don't be fooled by the system. Although unusual, it NEVER hampered a SA from getting ANY result they wanted. It's easy to blame the laypeople on the coroner's jury, but from studying other Illinois cases over the years, I know the inquest is ALWAYS a reflection of what the State's Attorney wants. If they wanted Kathleen's death looked at, it would have been.

They're using the inquest's results as an EXCUSE.

If they could turn one cop buddy, who had always believed in him, and bring DP in for an offical chat with him.... I think he might turn.
Esp. if he was a man and a husband who Drew connected with. But Drew isn't going to confess under the usual police tactics because he is aware of them.

That's funny because the person who did her autopsy was a MEDICAL DOCTOR.

EXAMINED BY: BRYAN MITCHELL, M.D.
WITNESSES: KEVIN STEVENSON, DEPUTY CORONER
BOB DIEHL, ISP
BILL BELCHER, JR.

Just because their names were listed doesn't actually mean they were there. We are talking about Illinois after all.

The coroner did say that though his hands were tied by the inquest, the police and attorney's did not have to abide by their findings and that they could have taken it further.

Isn't that a crazy system.Experts should be deciding these things, not random people of the street.

CORONER'S INQUESTS are like trials to determine the cause of death in an UNDETERMINED death investigation.

If there's any question as to manner of death, the coroner summons a jury and presents the information to the jury in a neutral manner. The jury then makes the determination based on the evidence presented by the coroner (who is actually a judge).

Back when KS passed, the coroner could not legally reverse the determination of the coroner's jury. In January 2007, the Illinois legislature passed a change to the law that now allows the coroner to change the verdict of a coroner's jury (if s/he does not agree with it), based on the facts and evidence at hand.

I think this is a major coverup and now with the national coverage of Stacey they have to account for some of this.

The impression I am getting on the deputy/coroner is that the deputy maybe worked for the coroners office, not that he did the actual autopsy. Like maybe he supervised the removal of the bodies from the scene, did transport and things like that. Surely they didn't allow a non-medical to do an autopsy!!!

The inquest for Riley Fox was held months after her murder and after her father's arrest. There was no question that her death was UNDETERMINED. It was a dog 'n pony show for the media AND testimony was falsely entered regarding the manner of death by Tomczak.

Thanks for the information Dee. It is a much better system now then it was when Kathleen died.

Which is exactly what happened in Kathleens case. The special agent for the States Attorney, testified that there was little blood and no signs of foul play.

Ahhhh the infamous Chicago SOS ... did you catch the video clip of them doing a full on millitary assault on a hispanic nightclub? The mafia could learn a thing or two from the Chicago PD

Chicago SOS? I'm from Chicago and never heard that term. What's it mean?
